Ok folks..I still have 4 hours til her pm shot.. seems like so far she’s gonna keep going down… what doooo I do?! 😂
 
I’m more so wondering if I’m going to be able to shoot or not 😂 108 has me stumped

Oh I thought from one of your posts that you fed her a little at each test. Most kitties like to have some of their usual food at least during the first part of the cycle, especially if they tend to bounce from when their BG drops too quickly. Might be something you can experiment with, although today, she came down fairly nicely.
 
I was only feeding more when she was coming down too quickly and was recommended to feed to slow the drop.
I’m absolutely willing to try and do mini meals when I’m not working.
 
Is she at about her ideal weight? How much does she currently weigh? Depending on how much you feed at each preshot, you could perhaps feed a little less at preshot then add a couple of teaspoons of usual food at around onset to get some fresh carbs on board, which for most kitties is around +2 and another mini-meal a few hours later. Spreading out the food a little especially around onset and into nadir seems to be of benefit for most kitties. I liked using for little treats the freeze dried or air dried meats like ZiwiPeak (air dried) and Kiwi Kitchens, Feline Naturals and Stella and Chewy’s (freeze dried), as well as the PureBites. All low carb and most come in different meat variety.
 
She’s 5.8 lbs. vet says for her size she’s perfect weight. Just super small.
I’ll look into those.
I leave for work an hour and a half after her am shot and get home 45 minutes before her pm.
 
I forgot how small female kitties can be :smuggrin:. So that’s probably about 150 calories usual recommended food intake, and each can of FF is around 90 calories.
 
She gets one can at each shot.
She’s like extraaaaa little lol. Probably one of the smallest cats I know. Firestick remote for size 😂
