Harley had dose change on Saturday to 9 units. Has consistently run in the 350’s which made me concerned. Since the U was so upset over the raw diet, I bought cooked stuff. Come to find out, they have added stuff which raised the carb level. Last night (too late) I discovered this. His late night snack was only EVO and this AM he is 250.

Why do I bend to pressure? So, beginning over, he is only getting the raw or EVO.

Starting Wednesday I begin new job duties for 10 weeks which will keep me, Monday through Thursday, from getting to Harley during the day. My director is having carpel tunnel surgery on both hands and says she will be out 10 weeks. Oh well. Time to try the feeder again. Last time all Harley did was bang it around until the door opened and he got the food.

Good luck with the feeder. I'm about to try the PetSafe feeder with Maggie again. Some time ago I tried it but had little luck and can't remember why? I had to laugh when you mentioned Harley banged it around until it opened - they are too smart for their own good! That's too bad about the adding of carbs to the raw diet.
 
That's a nice yellow start to Harley's day.
Good luck with the feeder. Maybe, if you put it in a different location, he won't remember to bang it around. Just a thought.
 
good luck with the new dose! This is a better AMPS so maybe he will do something with it.

I don't understand the problem with raw either. I'm only a few days into a switch to raw for Jazzy and the improvements in the litter box are encouraging. She likes it and it seems to like her, so I can't complain.
 
I don't know what their problem was but when I mentioned the raw they acted like I was giving poison or something. I think that it was the salmonella scare that has them going. Seems to be that raw from a known source is better than cat food coming from China.

Good morning guys ... sorry to hear about the change in the cat food ... I hope harley takes to the auto feeder this time without banging it open .. try and have a great day!
