Happy Tuesday LL!!! Our thoughts and prayers to all ailing kitties and beans today.
Gracie had a furbaby fabulous day yesterday!! So glad to see her back on track and in her blue/green numbers. She was happy to join Tess and Mannie at the green lagoon....it had been a while since the threesome had been there together. She stayed up with Daddybean until +8 and then decided to come cuddle with her mommy. She and Tobey were back at the WWF Smackdown last night...boy can they play rough but as long as no one is making noise, we leave them alone.
She has a vetty appt on Thursday....her quarterly one and I want the vet to take another look at her teefies. Her gum around her one fang is a tiny bit pinker than the rest of her gums but she does not act like she is any pain and there is no tartar on that tooth or gum. Hard to tell with her..she has brownish gums for the most part.
DM update: she's finally coming out of the narcotics and it isn't pretty. I think she must be in some form of withdrawal as she is doing alot of "dry crying". They started her regular meds back up last night...still no pain meds. My DSs there are taking turns staying with her. Had an almost 2 hour conference with the Director of Nursing at the ALF yesterday. Stressed that if my sisters had not gone over there, Mom would not be with us. She is investigating and said they will take disciplinary action on the med techs that continued to administer narcotics (regardless of the incorrect orders) when they knew how much medication that was and that Mom was already incoherent. I'm glad she is awake and responding although it's very hard to withstand all that crying and you can't reason with her...we've all tried today. I'm of the opinion ...if it doesn't make you feel better why do it? She just says she can't help it and she doesn't know what else to do. :?
Mike and I have to get some errands run and get some fud. Will be back later. Have a great day.
