Yesterday's Condo

Ms. Gabby is clearly full of surprises! I thought her numbers were heading back up last night an she then surprises me this morning. Go figure!

Yesterday, I had a meeting with our training staff and because they did such a great job with applicants, I brought French pastries to the meeting. There were a few leftovers that came home. Guess who likes French pastry? It was a fight to keep both cats away from the almond croissant. Gabby rarely has an interest in what I'm eating. Apparently, anything with butter seems to catch her interest. I did have another cat many years ago who could sniff out a French pastry from rooms away.
 
Better lock your cupboard, Sienne!

Stu was a butter fiend. More than once we found a big "cat lick" down the whole length of the stick of butter.

Ella, thank you for the sweet reminder of Checkers. He too, like to make lick mark down center of butter. :joyful:
 
Kitty-seeking pastries -- that gave me a good chuckle. I can so identify with their love of the fine foods (especially of the french and buttery variety ;))

The more butter the better. Neko can smell when the butter comes out of the fridge for baking and comes into the kitchen. Good taste (and good numbers) today Gabby.
 
Whew. I'm thankful I don't have any butter lovers here. We're a Twinkie-lovin' household. :facepalm:

Hope you're doing well, Sienne. Even though I haven't been posting lately, I check in often to read about the Gabby-and-Gizmo antics, although I was disappointed that there weren't any whack-a-thons noted this morning. :)
