AMPS 391, 4th cycle @0.5u, 0.95oz 11%

Zener is feeling good this morning. He strrreeetttccced real big when I got up. He is super flexible because of his CH and he arches so much that he's a C. He's hasn't done that in a while! He has been peeing a lot. I hope his numbers come down today. We shall see. Him and Tillie woke me up at 3 am, I think because he was chasing her and she jumped on me. Then I got up and she was in the cabinet, having found a stash of leftover dry food way in the back and he was trying to get in there too. So they got some freeze-dried chicken and I had a glass of milk and things settled down. He went outside for a short picnic but didn't leave the covered patio because it's snowing! 3-5" is the forecast. He's is on the filing cabinet now, helping with his condo but thinks it may be time for a snack.

OT: Anne made it to her hotel in Bonn just fine, very unusual for her.

Happy Martin Luther King Day, LL.

Re: 1/16 Zener AMPS 391

Hi guys ... ohhh I just love it when kitties stretch real big! Our civvie twix does it all the time, but would NEVER let you touch her tummy! Nothing like having a kitty pounce on you at 3 a.m. .. 3-5in of snow huh? I think you guys have gotten way more snow then us up here in MI this year! Have a great day guys!

Re: 1/16 Zener AMPS 391

It's super great to hear Zener is feeling so well! The numbers will fall in line.

Have a good day Liz.

Re: 1/16 Zener AMPS 391

I'm glad things are getting back to normal for Zenner. And asking for food! :-D :-D Everyone os getting snow and rain! We need it so badly here.

May the purrs continue all day.

Re: 1/16 Zener AMPS 391

Happy Monday

I posted about the reglan yesterday and improving food absorption. So hopefully one of the dosing advisors will comment on this - that they know about it. At least it doesn't cause dropping numbers like some medications.

Re: 1/16 Zener AMPS 391

Great to hear that Zener is feeling a lot better. Now you can think about numbers again. There is always that, huh?

Good to hear Anne is all settled in in Germany. I bet it will be a long week being a single parent. Have a great day Liz!

Re: 1/16 Zener AMPS 391

Great report...fabulous to hear that Zener is feeling so good again! Glad to hear Anne made it safe and sound, too.

Have a great day!!!

+1.5 437, 1.0oz 11%
+3 2.5 mg pepcid 1/4PP 0.5oz 11%

Ugh on that +1.5 but he's eaten 2.45oz totally on his own. I'm going to have to throw out come of the syringes that I filled on Friday, thinking I needed to start mass production. It does hurt my German soul just a little bit but I'll survive. :-D :-D He's curled up in the chair by my desk, looking very happy. And here he is earlier outside in the snow.

Devon: we average about 110" of snow here at 7000'. Hard to imagine in AZ.
Karrie: thanks for posting the question about reglan. It's invaluable to have good sources of information on this stuff.
Linda, Ann, Melissa and Amy: thanks for visiting and for your support. I don't know how I'd do this without LL.

He's such a sweetie! I dont know many other kitties that like playing around in the snow like Zener does. It's so great to hear he's eating on his own as well. Time to bring those numbers down buddy!

Have a great day Liz and kitties!

Re: 1/16 Zener AMPS 391;+1.5 437 pic

sorry on the higher numbers - hoping Zener comes down soon.

WOO HOO! A Zener in the snow photo. Way cool Zener. Could you tell Mannie that it really is oK to venture on out when there is white stuff on the ground?

It is nice that Zener wants food, is eating on his own. very cool!

and enjoy that snow. Nice on the 7000 feet - I knew you were high elevation, but not that high. Somehow that must be outstanding.

Re: 1/16 Zener AMPS 391;+1.5 437 pic

Love the picture of Zener in the snow! My kitties don't even know what to think when it snows around here. Of course, that only happens maybe once a year, if that much.

So happy to hear that Zener is eating on his own!!

Thanks for the update on Anne. glad she made it safely to her destination.

Proof positive that LL prayers do work!!! So happy he is eating & look he's a snowcat!!
Bobcats like the snow right?? Some cats do...Zener a man of mystery!! Glad Anne made it & all is well-
Hugs & love from us!!!!!!

Re: 1/16 Zener AMPS 391;+1.5 437 pic

when we lived in Minneapolis, Cleo GA did not care for the snow at all. I'd open the kitchen door, she would take one look and turn around. Then go to the front door to see if it was any better out there!

Re: 1/16 Zener AMPS 391;+1.5 437 pic

HAPPY MLK DAY TO YOU!
may we all find a bit more tolerance in our hearts :-D

I love the pic...looks like you snapped it just before Zener did the "Shake-a-footin"

Hi Liz, what a nice report on Zener! I love the pic of him in the snow, too! So glad Anne had a safe trip with not too many glitches it seems! Zener, time to come down off that high floor. Have a nice day, Liz.

Zener continues to do well. Appetite is good. BG is high. Definitely looking at a dosecrease, although that 58 yesterday makes me a bit nervous. Poo patrol was diligent and spotted some action tonight. It was rather hard, poor guy, he was definitely straining. I think this was the first poo since the 12 hr fast and ultrasound so maybe it's not too surprising. Any ideas?

Tracy: I hope he listens to you.

Michelle: The snow is mostly gone already but I didn't have to shovel much. We are in the middle of the world's largest stand of Ponderosa pine and we love it!

Georgia: Thanks!

Roni: Yes, LL prayers to work, we agree!

Ann: Our winters are very mild compared to Minneapolis, lots of sunshine, above freezing temps, and not much wind.

Binks: Thanks for the help! I'm working on it.
Celi: Well said.

Thinking of Sid and Lydia tonight and sending healing energy.

Re: 1/16 Zener PMPS 392 pic

Hi Liz and Zener (and Anne, when you check in), and Tilly, too.

You live at 7000 feet! Wow! Mt. Marcy, the highest mountain in NY State, is only 5,344 feet. But I'll bet it has much more violent weather than Flagstaff!

So great to read that Zener is out and about again and feeling like himself. The bgs will start to come down now, too. Great pic of Zener in the snow.

Bonn is a lovely city and I'm sure that Anne will have a good time there (if she doesn't have to be in meetings all day).

Enjoy the evening, guys, and Zener: you can work on coming down a floor, OK?

Doing great, LIz. So glad to hear Zener is eating...LOVE the photo but brrrrrrrr..

Glad Anne got to Bonn just fine. Lucky girl. I miss Deutschland.

Re: 1/16 Zener PMPS 392 pic

You could add a tiny bit of mirilax - 1/8th of a teaspoon over a day - not all at once. It works on keeping water in the colon - it won't work on the food already in there though. I wouldn't risk adding pumpkin or anything that may make his appetite sputter.

Well, he is flat this cycle.  The pinks don't do much for me though. We've been playing tent (my legs are the "poles" which he loves. I think I filled him up a little bit on freeze-dried chicken so I hope he eats a little more later. He has been eating what I leave out overnight, which has helped a lot. Still another Reglan to give him before bedtime.

Ella: I think Anne will be mostly working. She did get to go into central Bonn to buy chocolate this afternoon. :-D

Marje: The sun came out later and warmed things up, not to Tucson temperatures though. :-D

Karrie: Thank you. I added some Miralax to his food tonight.
