Yesterday's Condo.
Late posting because the bean went back to bed and caught up on sleep after our AM shot. Willie is doing much better today... the blues will do that! Before going back to sleep, I was starting to feel really discouraged about the Wee Dub, the progress he could make, etc. And I woke to a cheery eyed, happy cat. He's cuddled with me all morning... he sleeps with me at night, generally on a spot where I pull back the covers for him (he prefers very flat, smooth surfaces) and then he sleeps in the crook of my arm with his little head resting on my hand or arm. After he had breakfast, he came back in and snuggled me all morning, so for now, all is right in the world.
Hoping the new vial will bring these preshot numbers down soon... I could more easily live with starting with the low 300s for the day and then surfing blue. The higher numbers just really start to affect him. I can tell how much he doesn't feel good when he's that high.
Somebody has decided it is time to be brushed, so gotta run!
One more thing... we officially switching to a human meter tomorrow! Going to start with the Relion because I have strips. Strip prices for the FreeStyle Lite are really good on amazon and I really like how the new strip style works, so we may switch to that here in a bit. I had changed the color thing on the spreadsheet so that it would match up what human meter folks were doing (for example, 219 on an Alphatrak is green not blue). We'll switch that back, so at least looking at the colors on the spreadsheet it will all flow consistently.
