Hi everybody. Well we're now on Day 3 of Tori's latest CP flare. She's holding her own. Numbers aren't too bad actually - we even saw some blue this afternoon but then she isn't eating that much either. Hopefully that will improve. At least I'm not having to shove food down her. I have often said that Tori will let me do anything with her except force feed her with a syringe. I'm so grateful that she's eating enough on her own that I don't have to do that. It's so stressful for both of us. I'm continuing with our standard treatment plan. She's still getting the Pepcid and Buperenex BID, the Cerenia daily and 100 cc of subq fluids daily as well as the Mirtazipine q2 days. It's keeping things under control.
All in all for a CP flare this certainly (knock on wood) isn't one of the real real bad ones. Maybe I'm just getting better at spotting things earler and heading them off. She seems really comfortable and even has been hanging out with Ayanna this afternoon. Well I bet there goes her weight gain again. Give her a few days and we'll start working on that again.
So that's it for now. My heart and prayers go out to those sick kitties and their Beans. Missy Kitty says hang in there guys. You can do it.
