Whatever she got into that threw her so high yesterday has apparently cleared. She is lower than Tawny this a.m., which is unusual, but Tawny is bouncing.

Tink did good today. She acted like a cat. She slept all day. Well, ate, slept and you-know-whatted in the litter box.
OT: We hate to ask b/c everyone has been so supportive lately thru out Tawny's ordeal but we need some serious come-home prayers & vines for Tinkerbell and Tawny's drooler brother, Smokey, who went missing this afternoon. Smokey is my protector. When Thom was alive, we had lots of cats, 4 horses and two dogs. Smokey was Thom's dog, and Scarlett was my dog. Scarlett died in a tragic accident in 2009 shortly after Thom died. Smokey has looked after me and protected me ever since. He went outside this afternoon for a little while like he always does w/drooler sisters Katie and Jessi. He rarely goes very far from the house, especially if I am in it. I checked on them a couple times out the window and they were all right there. Then a little later I went to let them in and Jessi & Katie came in but Smokey didn't. He ALWAYS comes when I call him. If he doesn't come right away all I have to do is start my Jeep and he comes. I drove around for 2 hrs looking for him, calling him. I walked the woods til waaaaaay after dark w/the flashlight trying to find him. He's gone. I'm scared. Please Smokey-buddy, I love you and I need you to come home. Healthy.
And if it's not too much to ask, maybe you could throw a couple come-home vines in for Tink & Tawny's civvie feline brother who went missing the first of November about the time Tawny got sick, Jasper. He too rarely went 10 feet from the house and one day he just disappeared too.
It's very weird b/c we are way out in the woods all by ourselves. Few even know anyone lives back here. I don't have a problem w/wild animals, coyotes, anything like that. No one has been around here today except me.
I need my boys back. If you can spare a prayer, I'm so sorry to ask, but please help.

(((Desi))) OMG...sending you major COME HOME vines for your boys Smokey and Jasper. I hope he just decided to take a nap somewhere and he'll be waiting by the door in the morning.

THANK YOU EVERYONE FOR THE VINES!
He came limping across a field in front of the house about 10 minutes ago. He is worn out, dehydrated but not apparently hurt. He has a hip that bothers him sometimes (he's about 9 y/o) when he runs too fast but is otherwise healthy. He has already drank about a gallon of water. He is tired, but HE IS HOME!
My poor sweet Jasper did not come back w/him sadly but maybe Jasper will come home yet. I keep thinking of the story I read here (was it Mel?) about the cat that was gone 5 years. I know sometimes they disappear for months so there is still hope for Jazzy.
The POWER OF THIS BOARD never ceases to amaze me. Thank you everyone from the bottom of my heart.
