1/16 Thomas AMPS 349

Hi Jenn :)
I hear you. It can feel quite confusing and frustrating. I think many of us can testifying to feeling completely bamboozled by looking at a SS. AND. You'll get there. Like we all do.
You'll look at these numbers one day and it'll all make sense to you.
keep going. You're doing a great job :bighug:

So much for lower numbers, will I ever understand all this??
Hi Jenn, looks like a bounce from the blue preshot yesterday. Very normal to bounce since he had to get used to being in lower numbers. Don't forget to link your last post in every post you make so people can follow what’s going on with Thomas :)

You’re doing great. Keep posting and reading to learn. It takes time.
Have a great day :bighug::bighug:

Hi, Jen.

Stopping by to check on you both. I'm hoping he has been accident free as of late.

Don't stress yourself out about trying to understand what his numbers are doing. Just focus on getting him under 300s, then 200s, etc and testing as much as you can when you are home. As you have time to research here and elsewhere, things will start clicking regarding this disease.

Happy to see you getting more numbers in the PM cycle. Keep that up.

@Basic's Mom how do I find the post that we (I think it was you) spoke about the Libre? is there a way to save it somehow? I found a Libre 2 for $40 it expires at the end of this month. I was trying to figure out how long they last once they are put on.

They last 2 weeks. I'll find your previous post where we discussed the libre and tag you.

Done. Make sure you read that post again. I'm not sure a libre 2 can do what we discussed in that previous post. The libre 3 is usually $40 and some change. The libre 2 shouldn't be $40.

Hi Jenn, @Basic's Mom gave you great information! she’s correct, the Libre lasts “up to” 14 days. They can fail earlier but can last that long. I always have extras on hand since sometimes you can’t get them in a pinch. Your pharmacy can be out of them and it can take several days to get one in to them, then to you etc. So just be prepared.
I pay around $40 each for Libre 3. I think the Libre 2 is around same price. But you can check on that.
Hope this helps :)
