Thanks on all the visits last night and sorry I missed you, Carla, Amy, Georgia, Deborah, Roni, and Wendy. Thanks Wendy on Mags's Profile, one of my favorites, too. I had a feeling Mags was going to drop at the pm, but I didn't expect a 52 for the 2nd night in a row. I knew I couldn't stay up, so I had to abort the nice cycle with a higher carb food, as I have an early appt. Mags is a really good free feeder and is ravenous when low, so she was eating after the 52 and ate a fair amount overnight. If she had not been eating after the 52, I would have sleep tested. I had an alarm set for another test and don't know what happened. :roll: Mags is already on a HC renal food (another story), so I have another a little higher in carbs, and it brings her right up. Surprisingly, Merrick Cowboy Cookout also brings her up, and it's only 5 carbs, but it must be the ingredients in it that cause a spike.

I'm giving Mags a shave down to 7 drops with the two 52's and the 45 last Saturday. ('m still a drop counter :lol: ) It's close enough, and I think at the +4 she would have dropped under 50. I opened a new vial and will be gone early am when she would do the dropping. If she doesn't hold it, I can bring her back up.

I need to get a chest X ray before starting one of the new RA drugs, so thought I'd better get there early at this Imaging place as parking is so bad, and I hope to get an outside space. Last time in this medical complex I parked in the parking garage and lost my car. :?

This is on the new dose and new vial. (my old vial lasted 4 months +)! I thought I'd better get a +2 as Mags woke from her nap all chatty, and I've learned to pay attention to her signals, unlike a couple other times. :lol:

Hi Melissa, yeah, fresh juice, one never knows how they'll react. I got plenty of fuds in her after the shot, so no dives today. :-D

Hi Ann & Maggie,

Looks like you've got the new juice under control and hopefully Maggie will surf safe while you are out today. Interesting about Cowboy Cookout. I believe it was Dr. Lisa who once said that Cowboy Cookout is really good for kitties because it is close to their perfect food: "fresh mouse". Did Maggie like it? Did it spike her as much as FF T&G?

I hope you can find a good parking spot when you go for your x ray today.

Nice start for Mags...she's liking her new juice!! It is odd how certain "LCs" spike some of the kitties here. If you recall, Wellness Chicken sends Trix's BGs all over the map!

Hi guys .. looking good maggie! And congrats on the reduction .. seems like she was really wanting one! I hope you get to your appt and find a spot outside .. we thought our car was stolen once at our grocery store .. only to realize seconds before calling the cops, we parked at the other end :oops: have a great day guys!

I'm back and it sure looks like a nice surf for Mags with the reducie and new juice. I did catch Mags eating just as I walked in the door, so we'll see if there's a food spike.
In all the rush to get out the door and make sure Mags was safe, I neglected to mention Mags had a poo :-D overnight. It was very soft but not liquipoo. I guess I overdosed on the Lactulose. Detectives Crapdash and Poo will be proud.

Hi Ella, on the Cowboy Cookout, Mags does like it. Interesting on the comments from Dr. Lisa. I'll have to try it when Mags is low and see if it causes a spike or was maybe a coincidence. I think it was near the same spike as FF T&G!

Hi Amy, it is strange how some of the seemingly okay carbs fuds cause a spike in some kitties. Thanks on the appt. I got in and out for the X-ray easily with not many patients so early.

Thanks Angela, yes new juice is nice. I was barely able to get the juice in from the old vial with it being so low. I've never used an entire vial before!

Hi John, I did find a parking space on the first level :lol: of the parking garage, so I found my car easily. Thanks on your visit.

Hi Devon, I know the heart sinking feeling when not being able to find the car in a big grocery shop lot. My first day at General Dynamics the security guard had to drive me around the parking lot to find my car. :lol:

Thanks Michelle & Scrabble, it looks like she's doing well so far on the reducie. She has been threatening a reducie. :lol:
 
It looks like Maggie likes the new dose and the new juice. Yay on the poo. I'm glad you were able to get your x-ray done quickly.
