Good Morning LL. DH here. Hard to believe its Wednesday again already. Marje is at work, and all is quiet at the moment at Gracie's house.
After a crappy AM cycle yesterday, Gracie had a nice slide last night. After her +1 food spike she came down almost exactly 10 pts an hour the rest of the night, and gave us a decent AMPS. We are testing a little more early in the cycle and adjusting her feeding schedule accordingly in an attempt to control her diving. Thats why we were testing every hour from PMPS to +3 last night, even though she was in yellow. (Don't want you to think we are test freaks, well, we are, a little.) Happy with the nice slide overnight, and the surf at 100 so far today.
Everyone is doing well here this morning, naps in progress all around. The cold snap we have been having the last 5 days is finally over apparently. We had five days in a row of highs in the 40's and lows in the low 20's (one night in the teens). May not sound like much for those of you who actually have winter, but for this neck of the woods it was significant. The local plants and critters aren't wired for those kind of temps. All the potted plants spent the time in the garage, but the plants in the ground were just covered with sheets and frost cloths. Need to uncover them today and assess the damage. I haven't seen the javelina family for a few days. Hope the little newborn made it.
Hope you are all doing well and having a great day.
