Yesterday's Condo
Willie is having another great, green day. The weather here is insanely beautiful, so he's spent some time outside, which distresses Herbie to no end. Whenever he comes back in the house, she literally bounces as she prances next to him, kissing his face, cooing and chirping the whole time. I can only imagine it is something along the lines of
Why u go out dere?!?!? Tank hebbens u survived!! Why u not stay in here an' play wif me??? I iz fun!! See!! Now u iz stinky. C'mere an I gibs u de bath!!! :lol: :lol: :lol:
After several wrestling matches, they are now cuddled together on the bed. Willie just gave her a hiss as apparently, he is tired of being bathed... at which point, she turned her attention to my left hand. :shock: :shock: :shock: Just glad she has perked up... She didn't feel well after her vetty visit yesterday and when I left to go to a friend's birthday party, she was sleeping on the bed so I swaddled her in her favorite blanket. I returned several hours later and she hadn't moved. She didn't eat much either, but she is back to her nuclear ball of fire self today! Just makes me smile to see how much they've come to adore each other... it was two months ago today that I adopted her after stopping by Petsmart after church. Seems like she's been with us so much longer!
Time for me to head out for a run. With temps in the 60s, no way am I getting on the treadmill! Will stretch out with yoga afterwards. Hope everyone is having a great day!
Tee hee... more baths for Willie. He can't hide his grin, though!! Marjorie asked yesterday if Willie "tolerates" all the attention... he totally tries to play it off that way, but his grins and purrs suggest he adores getting loved on as much as Herbie loves doting on him. These kids.
