Morning everybody and happy Caturday to you all! Well the feel better vibes and prayers seem to have worked again for Missy Kitty. She seems quite a bit better this morning. Daniel had a pretty good night with her, testing her every 2 hours until +6 at which time she was 261 her high being at +2 at 274. She ate on her own at +6 and at that point he decided to call it a night. I'd been talking to him every couple of hours.
When I got home from work this morning she was at the door waiting as per usual which is always a good sign. She followed me out into the kitchen and proceeded to chow down on some food that was left over from the 2 am feeding. I was pleasantly surprised when I tested her and got a 221. Pretty darn respectable I think given the circumstances. She ate a pretty good breakfast once I figured out that she wanted a bit of gravy on it. Not ideal I know but really as long as she eats right now that's all I care about. I gave her a dose of Pepcid, Bupe and Mirtazepine. Later on I'll give her some fluids as well. After breakfast she had a good wash and is now stretched out on my bed having a morning nap. That's where I'm going in a minute or two. I feel like I haven't slept for a week.
So all in all it looks like we managed to get a handle on this CP flare good and early before it got really bad. It always amazes me how she can be fine one minute and start getting so sick the next. I know Dr Doug was shocked when I told him what she was up to yesterday afternoon. He had been commenting on how great she looks. Believe me by the afternoon she looked awful.
So please keep the healing vibes and prayers coming for Missy KItty. They make such a difference. This Board is very powerful you know. We don't need a relapse here that's for sure. My plan for now is to keep up the CP treatment plan for 3 days at least. I'll be checking in with Doug this afternoon to see what he thinks.
Well I'm off to bed. I really need a few hours sleep. Will check in when I get up and will update Tori's spreadsheet then.
Have a good day everybody. Congratulations to Tinkerbell. I don't know if Tori will feel much like partying tonight but knowing her she might want to at least go and hangout at the bar. You can't keep a little calico girl down for long you know.
