Good morning ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O)

Can't believe it's been a week since I posted. I really dislike my new schedule and am having a hard time getting everything done at work and in life. Ollie has been doing well with all the changes. Today is one year since he was dx. Of course he tosses me a yellow number of 212! We have not seen green for a few days now. At first I thought it was a bounce from a low PMPS of 76 a few days ago, which I shot a full dose. Now I think he might need an increase. I did a curve yesterday and intend to do one again today. Then again I might need a new bottle of insulin.

Sending healing vines and prayers to all in need. Sometimes I feel so small posting about Ollie. I am blessed to have so few problems with him. I wish that was the case for all. The love and support on this board is amazing.

Wishing all a wonderful day! :-D

I'm glad to see an Ollie condo! Since Weezer goes through insulin like water, we've never had any go bad, but at almost 2 months, maybe yours is toast.

Have a good day Patsy.

Linda's point is well-taken. If your vial went with you during the move, it may have been jostled and not kept as cold as you ordinarily keep it. The vials need to be refrigerated at all times. I'd see how Ollie's cycle plays out today. Sometimes, a cat will throw a couple of high numbers before dropping low. We refer to it as a "high before a break."

Thanks Linda and Sienne! I started the insulin bottle about two months ago and it did travel with me.

He's still not green at +3 but the 103 is darn close. I'll see what today brings.

Howdy ~O) ~O) ~O)

Ollie is looking good :-D

Fresh juice may indeed do the trick. I agree with the others - 2 months and transport during travel may have taken it's toll.
I always used a vial/cartridge in the neighborhood of 30 days, then cracked open a fresh one, which is how it was done back in the day.
Nice to know that with proper handling one can get more mileage out of a vial/pen, easier on the checkbook.

I'm right there with you - It's been 10+ hour days for me for weeks now - not sure when it will let up . . .

Enjoy the rest of the weekend!

HAPPY ONE YEAR, OLLIE-MAN!!!!!!!!

LET'S GO GREEN TO CELEBRATE!
