Just stopped in to say hi and let you know we're doing fine. Beethoven has been OTJ for 15 months! I check his BG about once a month, and it's always good.
He's been eating less and has dropped some weight, so I'm watching that and making sure he always has food available, esp. his favorites. He does eat, but it's just less. The vetty bean noticed that when he was in for boarding and they noticed he had a sore on his tongue. That may have been why he was eating less, if it was uncomfortable. Anyway, that's all healed and he's all fluffy and perky again. The other thing she noted was that he needed a dental. He's gotten by for 13 years without one, but now it's time. I'm just a bit nervous about that. He's had his pre-dental bloodwork done and everything looked good. They (at the vet place) are still so impressed that he's stayed OTJ for this long.
The other news is that mamabean is getting ready to retire.
Yep, life around the Beethoven abode is about to change--and for the better.
