So pleased that Zener is doing so well! Sending healing vines to all in need.

Well Morgaine had a super high BG, for her, this AM. I don't know if somehow she got a fur shot or if the insulin went bad but I always check for fur shots, as I am sure most of us do, and there was nothing on her fur. We were at the end of this vial so I opened a new vial today. I am hoping that is the issue and she comes back down. I haven't ever seen a number this high for her except when she was stressed but of course she has been here when we used the faulty FS. I have my procedure on Wed and she will not be getting any insulin for at least 1 cycle so I hope things come back to her normal range by tomorrow.

Other than that she is doing well. She cuddled in the bed yesterday and this AM she joined me for some good morning...get the heck up mama...purring and cuddling . I'll be checking her at +3 to see if she has responded to the new vial of L.

Re: 1/15 Morgaine AMPS 270 Yuck!

Yuck is right! We are right there with you - yuck. I hope the new insulin gets her back to Morgaine-like numbers. Good to hear she is purry and cuddly :-D

Thank you for your support, Rosalie. It means so much to us! Morgaine, listen to your bean and get back to those blues and greens that suit you so well.

Rosalie-

just curious...

do you pronounce her name "Mor-gee-ah-neh"
or "Mor-gayn"?

Generally I pronounce it Mor-gayn but sometimes call her Mor-gah-na and often she gets called Gainie or Gainie gal  !

Re: 1/15 Morgaine AMPS 270,+3 162

This mamabean is very pleased to see Morgaine's +3 at 162. So it looks like we got about 2 months out of this vial of Lantus. Her relatively high dose and the fact that I struggle with air bubbles and waste some insulin as I will sometimes start over, makes that 2 month period about right for us. I have tried all the methods suggested about air bubble but I still can't seem to get rid of them.

My goal for today is to get Morgaine under 150 or lower!
