Morning ~O) Mags had a 52 at the +3 and slowly kept rising. She eats ravenously when low, so I had no worries she would eat her overnight fuds. I am counting this 52 as a second number towards a dosecrease, as it's so close to under 50, and and she had that 45 on January 12. Mags has been holding her reducies. All seems well today with Mags. I'm almost positive this will be a poo holiday, with yesterday being prezzies day. I think we have Inspector Crapdash in the mornings and Inspector Poo afternoons. :-D I hope we can return to her every other day prezzies. Hey Mannie, can't wait to see you and also my ~O) delivery!

On another issue, I tried to create a new Profile using the "simple FDMB Profile" instructions, using Google Doc. I followed to a tee and when I tried to paste the link in my Signature page in between the URL, the following message came up:

Your signature contains 284 characters. The maximum number of allowed characters is 255.

Any ideas? I can ask on the Tech Forum but hoping I can get a simple solution here. Thanks.

Morning guys! Marje is really good with the techy stuff & I am sure others are too so I am sure someone can let you know what you did wrong, I have no idea lol. I followed it to a t also and it worked for me. So funny us oldies are finally getting around to do a profile, we got ours done last week! Yay for day 2 of a reducie! We have 2 of those also and have been waiting for the 3rd but Scrabble is not cooperating! They don't have to be consecutive days right just 3 on the same dose? Hope you have a great day. Another chilly windy day here. Supposed to warm up by the end of the week to the low 70's, will be nice. Take care!

Thanks Michelle, I know on "funny us oldies are finally getting around to do a profile." I had one in there but had just pasted a link from Google Docs, and I couldn't make changes. I have tech deficiency! :lol: which doesn't help either. Thanks on Mags and I think today may be the day she has another close call to a reducie, andi-jynx.

Okay, I shortened a few things in my Signature Block and now have the Profile Link pasted. If I want to change the link to "Maggie's Profile", is it done same way as I did above in "1/14 Condo"?
The instructions say to click on Code and Select All.

Oh dear, wish I could be of some help on the profile but I'm more of a hands on person and would probably just end up confusing you and me both!

Nice numbers last night and this morning too.

Lookin' good this morning, Maggie. I hope you get your reducie soon!

I think that instead of putting into your signature the whole URL for your SS and Profile, you have to "name" them when you edit your signature page. In this way only the "name" of the document shows in your signature, but the "name" then brings up the document. Thus you use up far less than the number of letters allowed in the signature itself. Go to your "edit signature" page in your profile and add the "name" of your SS and your Profile.

Here is what the line for Rusty's profile looks like on my "edit signature" page:

Note that here--in this post-- I have deliberately left out the opening and closing brackets so that you can see what the signature string should look like (if I had put in the brackets, all you would see is "Rusty's Profile". So, when you do your own, you must put in the opening and closing [ ]

It looks like a nice, safe surfing day. I need to make a run to PetsMart for more World's Best Cat Litter and some Cowboy Cookout for Mags.

Thanks Tracy, Mary, John, Amy and Ella on the visits. I think I'll start a new vial tomorrow. I'm at the bottom of the barrel on this vial and not even sure if I got all 8 drops in Mags, but not too bad for over 4 months plus on the vial.

On the Profile when I add "Maggie Profile" before the brackets, the prompter comes up telling me I have too many letters and won't submit it. I think my Google ss link is too long and taking up the space. I'll let it go for now and work on it later. I think I'll get myself ready to go out and about. It may get up to 60 today. :-D

Lovely morning for Miss Maggie. She wants to go for a swim, in the lagoon today. bet she makes it. :-D

I haven't done my profile, 'cause I don't remember 'stuff', from three years ago. I had one in the old board, but that doesn't seem appropriate for here.
I'm going to use Ella's instructions and see if I can make my siggy change to 'checkers ss'. I'm not too techy.

Nice slow slide for Maggie today.

Ella is right you need to shorten the profile and SS names. You don't put the name before the brackets, rather in between the 2 sets of brackets:
  • [url=paste URL here]type SS or profile name here[/url]

I have lots more stuff in my sig other than those long URLs and ours works. One other note, you are limited to 4 links in a signature.

Hi Melisa, yes it was a poo day yesterday. It takes a lot of meds and effort to get Mags to poo, poor baby.

Devon, I wish I had a Techie guy here. :lol: That's great Peter does all the Tech stuff.
