Well, Miss China's being fickle (again) but I guess I'm just going to have to get used to it!! As long as she comes down, that's all I can ask!!

Today was my birthday too...and although I would have preferred all green, I'll definitely take an OTJ China!!!

She doesn't seem to miss the shots at all and she's never cared much if I poked her or not, but she sure still wants her food bowl held....or to be spoon fed!!

She's just a little bit spoiled I think ;)

Tomorrow we're back in the deep freeze with -25 wind chills....they even cancelled school due to the cold! I sure don't remember them ever cancelling school due to temperature when I was a kid!!

(OMG...I think I'm turning into my parents!!.....that last statement sounded an awful lot like the one I heard from them...you know the one....about "walking barefoot to school with snow past our knees....Uphill.....Both ways"....LOL)

Hope you're all doing well and are staying warm!! Give those kitties a cuddle!!

I am green with envy - just like all those greens in the middle of China's chart. What a great birthday present.

I like spoiling our cats too, and it sounds like China is spoiled to the max.

Austin TX is even getting the chill - all the way into the 20's tomorrow, but nothing like -25 degrees. That is just mind numbing. So 20-25 degrees probably sounds like summer to you!
 
Chris!! It's true....China is OTJ!!! OMGOSH! I am so happy for you and China! She was always our inspiration kitty!!!

I have been off the board for a few months making a baby. He is due in 11 days. Posted today on some advice on my civvie and someone mentioned China had gone OTJ. You had a very long journey and are such a dedicated kitty mama. Couldn't have wished it for any other kitty-mama duo! Congrats again. Makes me have a little hope for my Ozzy. He just had his 1 yr anni as a diabetic this past November.

Yeah, for the last 4+ years I always said that while I didn't think China would ever go OTJ, I'd also never give up hope!

Even if she eventually has to go back onto insulin (anti-jinx), I'll always know that at one point, she did it!!!

I hope she stays OTJ!! Will post some pics of baby Jacob when he is here. Some other folks have also asked.

Happy Birthday! China has given you a fantastic BD present! :cat: :cat: :cat: When I was a senior in high school in central Illinois, it was way below zero, windy and snowy and school was canceled for several days.

Yo Auntie Chris, I baked you a cimmamum birthday cake with catmint icing and it's on it's way. Nice and fresh!

Walking in the snow joke I remember hearing somewhere:
