Turns out that thing in Tips paw was just a claw. Apparently she's grown herself one where it shouldn't be! But the vet said that because it isn't bothering her. Just to trim it every once in a while. Good thing I didn't manage to get it out!

I really hope Tip gets in to better numbers too... ):

Hmm.
Does Tip have an extra toe? It sounds like it's in the middle of her foot. I'm glad you didn't pull it out. ohmygod_smile

I hope Tip comes down soon too.

No, she doesn't have an extra toe. It's a little further up the foot than the dew claw on her left foot. I've got a link to a picture of it circled below:

But it's just really, really weird. As am I. I'm sure she is as well. Vet was definitely perplexed because she's seen this in dogs, but never cats.

Wow. That is weird.
But very interesting... guess she had to match her name... with a Tip of a toe...

And I forgot to mention that this morning was a partial fur shot. ohmygod_smile She moved and at least half of it went in to the air. So that's part of the reason why her blood sugar is so high. Sorry about that.
