Good Friday, Everyone,

We started a new cartridge of Levemir this morning (after 47 days on the previous one). I tried to measure the skinny 0.5, but it may have ended up closer to a fat 0.25. Anyway, we'll see if the new cartridge will bring down those up-creeping numbers. Good test (1st try) this morning and a good shot. Rusty ate his breakfast in 2 self-selected "sittings" and we have had a good, active game with Big Bug and another with Red Ears. Rusty's new cube is looking like a cyclone hit it! I like it when he jumps up on top of it and squashes it down to the floor and then rolls around on it. Such exuberance!

11 degrees here this morning with lite snow. We might go x-country skiing or snowshoeing this afternoon, just for a little while to get out and play. Edward has a publication deadline so can't spare much time!

Everyone have a good day, and we hope that all the kitties who were not feeling well will be better today.

Good luck with the fresh insulin. Those cubes can really take a beating. Too bad all Maverick does is walk by them ohmygod_smile

Re: 1/14 Rusty AMPS 129

Morning Ella and Rusty....he sounds like such a happy boy. Love your reports...
Oh, and Ella....cross country skiing sounds great for today count me in!!

Oh no wait.....
I would probably die in that freezing cold weather.... :-|
I should not go out in any temperature that is lower than my age.....

What WAS I thinking.... ohmygod_smile

Nevermind.....

Hope you and Edward have fun playing around in the snow....brrrrrr.......

Re: 1/14 Rusty AMPS 129

Nice amps for Rusty! Hope the new cartridge works some magic for you... looking forward to new insulin tonight for Willie!

Have a great day... enjoy the fresh air!

Re: 1/14 Rusty AMPS 129

Nice amps, new pen, great kitty! Sweet. :-D Mannie says he will bring his spare cube, as it kinda just sits there, and he thinks Rusty may need another. :-D

Enjoy the outing today! There is a large part of me that wishes we had winters like you. Don't mind the cold, love the snowfall. Have fun!

Rusty! We should do something! Maybe snowboarding at your place - you gots the best snow! See you later, OK? ~~ Mannie

Re: 1/14 Rusty AMPS 129

  Pat! what a great rule!

too fun on the cube, Ella...Rusty found a very fun furever home with you...

So...now we know who should write the script for the lantusy Island documentary...sharpen your pencil, Edward!

Re: 1/14 Rusty AMPS 129

I hope the new cartridge stops the creep up. We are going to try Lev next week to see if we can soften Tess's bounces and push her nadir back a little.

XC skiing at 11º sounds perfect! The snow should be nice and fast.

Rusty! Snowboarding! Kewl! We can come here and warm up on the Dunes afterwards! -- Tess

Re: 1/14 Rusty AMPS 129, +5.5 104

Hi guys .. I hope that new pen brings down those creeping numbers (though I wouldn't complain to see them on mochas SS) I hope you guys were able to get out today and enjoy yourselves in the new snow .. have a great weekend!

Re: 1/14 Rusty AMPS 129, +5.5 104

Hi Ella, hope the new cartridge helps Rusty's creeping numbers.
Playing out in 11F.....Wow, you're brave! I walked to the mailbox and had enough of winter. :-D

Re: 1/14 Rusty AMPS 129, +5.5 104, PMPS 87

Hi again,
The snow was grand and the temp. made it up to 15--perfect x-country skiing conditions (I went by myself because Edward wanted to work; missed you, Pat!!!). And Rusty seems to have gone down gradually all day to his former better numbers. We'll know for sure in a couple more days.

Off now to visit some condos.

Great PMPS and good luck with the new pen!!!! Hope you all are having a great evening, Ella.

Oh Rusty...pmps 87, +4-86???? Could it not be the most PERFECT surf?!?!? :thumbup Way to go!

Glad to hear you got out skiing! Yes, the teens are perfect for that activity (believe it or not, for those in warmer climates). Now ice climbing...I prefer a crisp 25-28!

Look forward to hearing what wonderful plans you, DH, and Rusty have for the weekend!
