Uneventful drive yesterday - started giving a fat 1.5 dose
this morning it looks like that is working

the almost 70 point drop between +2 and +3 is concerning to me - I'm terrified of him going low on me now as he vomits all his food and honey/syrup/sugar. I know it may sound crazy, but in anticipation of a free fall drop and to avoid the vomiting fiasco, I gave him some ff gravy mixed with food with the 127 reading. I'll let you know what happens

That makes perfect sense to me - seeing how fast he's dropping early in the cycle, I would have tried to slow him down a bit too. I hope that he will stay on the surfboard today.

No, I haven't had time to get to the pet store yet, but as soon as I can, I'll get some
To be honest, Murphy doesnt' really seem to like gravy - I had to mix it with a little bit of Nulo to get him to eat it
I hope it is enough to slow him down
 
I will go to the Pet Store and get cans with the highest carb content I can find - too bad they all have those horrible gums and things
His +4 was 97 so down only 30 points in an hour as opposed to 70 the previous hour - I just gave him the rest of the gravy from the can mixed with food and he ate it - will check again in 30 minutes or so
 
Just checking in now. Looks like Murphy's is at least holding steady for now. Hope he comes back up on his own soon so you can get out of the worry zone.
 
be safe for mama bean now Murphy... slow and steady no sudden drops.... hope you can find a solution to the low BGs that works for Murphy
 
Thanks Barbara and Amber - I was surprised he went back down @+7 so I gave him a bit more gravy in his food
He hasn't eaten very much today so maybe that is contributing to this
But I should be happy he's in the lagoon
I hope he stays right where he is because I am going out for a late lunch soon
