WOOT! What a great day for Mannie - all that blue and a few speckles of green. Way to go Mannie. :cool: It seems like his new pattern of late is continuing... one day in the blues and greens, the next in the yellows and pinks. so..... since yesterday was good, I guess that means today will be on those "other floors". :? Mannie?: True? so so hoping for a repeat of yesterday. I like that amps, a repeat of yesterdays..... hmmmmmm..... Hoping maybe he will repeat. Well - lubs ya big guy, no matter what color you decide to be. Well done yesterday! cat_pet_icon

All is well in MannieLand. :-D :-D Yesterday was share the fuds day... again! This time DGS decided that Mannie should have some of his chicken. So he shared: a piece flung here, a piece there... at least this food choice I didn't mind. It was fun to watch Mannie retrieve them :lol: :lol: :lol: Then he'd come and sit on the floor next to DGS's spot and wait for more. and the PURRS! It made Nicholas smile. It really was kinda cute. Buddies for life! Mannie spent most of the day with his nanners - such attention! hey have been rearranged several times over, settling with one big circle. :lol: :lol: With him in the middle :lol: :lol: We had a great test feed shoot this morning: lots of purrs and head rubs from Mannie, some kneads too! Breffis was consumed with gusto - still at warp speed, clean plate club status maintained, the auto feeder continues to be used, AND!: Elsa missed raiding his auto feeder, again! :o what is up with that. maybe I should be grateful. :lol: so no running interception: phew! Normalcy in MannieLand, sort of.

Have a great day everyone! It is errand day here - groceries: human and furkid. We are expecting a snow storm - a rarity for us. So best to get out early before all the crazies show up. Snow creates such a panic here, as we don't get much of it in the lowlands, and when we do - oh boy! No one knows what to do with it, let alone drive in it. :lol: :lol:

Hey everybody! THE SNOW IS COMING!!!!! I am SO EXCITED!! Wanna come and play in it? maybe go sledding or sumthin'. I uh.... hope we get enough of it so we can... Well, we can make hot toddy's and stuff and build a fire, so it will be cool anyways. And maybe make more cookies... I hear that Rusty has a TON of snow too! I see snow tunnels in our future... And completely OT: Photos below of Nicholas's and my day at the Sammamish River, near Bothell. We have been here a couple of times before. DGS seems to really like this place, so I go back when we can, or when we need something that is closer to home. He has a really good time here, with the trails, the ducks, river, and the kids play area. All around nice place to go.

Mannie! We are almost the same! This is more fun than the teeter totter! I think my beans are going out today. Way too much activity for this time of the morning. I can take off as soon as they leave. I got my mixing bowls and spatula and lots of cimamum! Can we use your bean's oven? I want to get there before the snow too, the Furarri isn't too good in snow. -- Tess

Great day for Mannie yesterday! Hope it continues. Sounds like he and Nicholas are getting along great. The chicken game, cute! Nice photo's of your hike. That Nicholas is going to be quite the adventurer with all this experience.

Hi Jan - that is was - yesterday! Gosh I have missed those days - it is so nice to see him find them again. and yes on Mannie and Nicholas - they get along so well, best buds in the making. :-D I hope so too on Nicholas and the adventurer stuff - he really seems to enjoy it - always with the smiles when we got out.

Hi Michelle, and I'm with you on the extra large White Peppermint Mocha. Nice start and I bet the +2 is food, so Mannie keep surfing blues and greens today. Awesome pics of the river and Nicholas so cute! Is he walking yet. He looks ready to take off there and go explorin! People react the same way here when we get heavy rain, as it's lots of fender benders any time it rains. Have a nice catch-up day.

That sounds like fun, Mannie, playing in the snow and especially the hot toddies and Tess's cookies. I'll bring some snacks. See up soon, Maggie

Hi Christie - thanks, and yup: the Manster does adore his nanners. :lol: thanks - snows have started, but roads are clear. Today seems to be one of those wet snows that makes for just wet roadways. Great... hope we don't freeze....

Hi Ann - Mannie is having a good one today - I hope this is a nice blue surf, and not that he is on the rise... Guess the next test will tell. :razz: Thank on the pics - is is a very nice spot. Nichols loves it there. No on the walking, though he is close. Just needs a little confidence and I'm sure he will take off. :shock: :lol: and yes on the weather and the traffic... I can hardly wait to see what this little snowfall will do yo ours. :shock:

Mannie...we rented a snowmobile so we can have some fun in your snow. Tobey also asked our bean for oven mitts so he can help bake the cimmamum cookies.

Hi Marje - well, he went for a while... :roll: :razz: Yesterday was nice, today did start out well, looks like Mr Liver felt the need to make a statement, and so he did. :roll: and yep on Mannie and DGS - I think so too. Nicholas's face just lights up when he sees him - it really is very nice. love the photo - that is cute! those kits will have to work on britches too... :lol: :lol:

Gracie - awesome!! A SNOWMOBILE?!?!?!?!?!?!? sweet!!! ok, we made LOTS of cookie dough so that Tobey can have as many cookies as he wants. Hurry!! we are going to take the sleds out and stuff. I can't wait for that snowmobile. :cool: :cool: ~~ Mannie

Yo Mannie, Moonie and I are on our way. We'll be sure to watch out for the crazies driving in snow! Tell Tobey not to eat all the cookies before we get there!! I'm bringing my snowshovel to help make the tunnels.

Hi Michelle, I know what you mean about people in the Seattle area freaking out in the least bit of snow. Well, they do have steep hills in Seattle! Hope you got all your errands done before the snow arrived. Our snow is beautiful and today was a gorgeous, very cold (high was 11), sunny day. I had such a bad migraine headache that I didn't go out in it (except for our 2-mile walk to the post office). Bummer! But tomorrow for sure. And on Monday I may go on a 10-mile ski at one of the former "Great Camps" in the High Peaks (Camp Santanoni).

I guess Mannie has decided to zoom up at +9. It was nice and flat before that. What's going on, Mannie?

Hi Ella - yes on the Seattle freak-outs when it snows. there are some really bad hills here - this is true! sad thing is is that the city is so ill-prepared - they just can't handle it, mainly because it is not the norm for us... We did get some snow - about an inch maybe. they say the bulk will come overnight through sunday. so we shall see. temps keep wavering between 37, 30 back to 36... so who knows what mess it will cause. :lol: :lol: sorry for your migraine - bummer! but hope that you go tomorrow and then for sure the 10 miler! -- and I wish I knew on Mannie... the new pattern. one good, one bad. yesterday was good, so today - well bad with that pink stuff. :roll: and yes on the river! here is a trail that follows all of it - mile after mile, very urban,. but still very nice. lots of parks dot it's course. Nicholas really likes this one section, so we go there as often as we can, when the remote stuff isn't doable.

Hey Rusty - silly bean signed off before I could write. :evil: DID you hear???? Gracie is bringing a snowmobile!!!! thanks on the shovel man, I only got one.... and yes on the crazies... stay way from the mall route, there is ice there and already the crazies have messed things up... affirmative too on Tobey - nby he sire does like cookies... ~~ Mannie
