Good morning, folks! We're at the halfway point of the week, and I hope it's a good one for you! Safe surfing to your kitties.

It's my work from home day, so Gen is snoozing in my lap. His cycles are looking a little different, smoother, but still pretty high ... will have to see what today brings. Also, today I am trying out a pinch of psyllium husk in his food instead of Miralax. He didn't poop at all yesterday for the first time in about a week.

"Excuse you, I'm trying to nap here!"

I’m a huge psyllium husk fan! My kitty Hoodoo gets 1/4 teaspoon twice a day. (For the opposite problem, but I’ve used it for my constipated kitties too. 😻)

Aw sweet little bebeee 💘 (Proviable (probiotics) has kept things nice too over here!! gets 3/4 capsule.. Keeps bathroom habits nice..)

Very cute! ❤️ I also love your blanket/comforter.

Good luck with the psyllium husk! i've been thinking about giving that a try as well one of these days.
Does he tend to drink enough? I think a part of the instances where Xander had constipation were partly from him not getting enough water. I've been trying to add a tiny bit of water to his wet food to get some extra in and he seems to be tolerating it

Me too! It's a duvet cover, and I just got it yesterday; a bit of a splurge with holiday gift money from my work. I'm way too excited about it for a piece of home goods, but well. 😅

Thanks! Will report back.

Gen is, if anything, a slightly overenthusiastic drinker. I used to put water in his wet food, years ago, but it hasn't seemed necessary in a long time. I'm not sure what's causing the constipation, but it could just be that he's getting older.
