Yesterday

Good Evening, Everyone,

We are getting a very late start today. Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers for my friend. He passed away peacefully last night. I spent much of today getting a DVD together of my father's old home movies of the many trips our two families took together in the late-1940s-early 1950s. I burned a new DVD to send to my friend's widow so that she could share with their children and grandchildren.

Rusty had a good day warming himself by the radiator and briefly dipping his paw into the lagoon. It was sunny and very cold (the high, even with all that sunshine, was about 7 degrees). Tonight we're supposed to hit 30 below zero! Tomorrow we're planning to ski/snowshoe to a small pond and have a picnic lunch with our little group. It may not be possible in that cold! We'll see what happens.

I'm so sorry about your friend. I'm glad it was peaceful. That's all any of us can wish for.
