Yeah, he seems to be able to see fine and isn't pawing at them or anything. She told me to watch for those, and to check them for redness as well. As for the cause, he could just be prone to it OR it could have come from the diabetes. So many things can lead to cataracts, so i am not going yo sit and stress about it. As long as my boy isn't in pain and lives comfortably, I'll be happy.I'm glad the vet visit went well. Sorry about the cataracts. Most people don't realize that cats get them, just like people. Cinco and Harvey both had them. Just watch for any behavior changes that could indicate vision loss. They can be surgically removed, just like with people.
