Good morning, beans and sugar cats!
Things are looking ok this morning, better than yesterday AM's scary low numbers. I'm going to move each shot back 15 minutes until we're back on schedule, if Chaos and his BG will cooperate. In the meantime, more coffee. ~O) Chaos's bean has a bit of a fatigue problem!

Here's hoping! I gave 0.25 today as suggested and we'll see how he does at +3 and +6. We've got our paws crossed. I have a fairly complicated cake due on Sunday and am really hoping things are relaxed so I can get the sketches and planning done.

95 at +3...we are looking good! Chaos was very docile for his test, I think we're getting the hang of it. Chicken treat time!

I am not sure if I have posted in your condo before so welcome.
That is a pretty big drop so I would suggest you get a +4. Chaos is looking good. :mrgreen:

I got my +4 and it's 85, so he's hanging right in there in green. Good kitty! dancing_cat Fed him some more of his AM portion of LC wet food. I am amazed that he's at 85 on 1/10 of his former dose after the diet change!

Today is going really nicely. Roads are clear, found what I needed at the stores, and we have 130 at +6. He seems to have gotten over his bounce from yesterday afternoon. Have I mentioned how much I like the colors blue and green? 'Cause I really do! :)

It is amazing what carbs do to a diabetic cat. Since joining this board I don't know how vets recommend the kibble that they do. Good for you doing the diet switch and monitoring closely when you did.

Argh! 332!! And here I thought we were having such a great day. Is it possible he is still bouncing around from his low numbers yesterday AM or is 0.25u not doing the trick? (....or am I worrying too much about the number? That's always a possibility.)

Boing! Looks like a bounce. Chaos had some rally nice numbers last night - probably bouncing from those. I hope he clears it soon. have a great night guys!

This may, indeed, be a bounce.

The numbers today may also be in response to the little bit extra that's still in Chaos' shed so the numbers dropped and bounced up. I'd wait to see how the next day or so plays out on this dose.

Great numbers include bounces most of the time...You'll learn to accept them--Green is sooo good! :mrgreen:

OK, good, you're confirming my theory that it was a bounce. I'll give him his 0.25u and see how things go. Thanks for the reassurance, everyone. Hope you're all having a good Fursday!

It looks like a bounce. Chaos is still at a stage where his dose needs to settle a bit. Don't try too hard to second guess, Violet. You're doing just fine.

We're headed away from stinky pink back to yellow :) There's some food in the dish and he's had a nice run with his laser dot...oh, how he loves laser dot!!

Yup, I make cakes. I'm kind of obsessed so you might see them mentioned here and there. At this point I am selling them to support Chaos's test strip habit lol! I did catch Chaos licking icing off a knife shortly after he was diagnosed, so I don't doubt the cat/cake love affair. Alas, it is a star-crossed love and not meant to be...poor kitties!
