He does Diane!!! , he so much like a doggie..... the Maine Coon in him? He has always been very food motivated, and he quickly learned to shake a paw, less than a week I think. I would try other things and as he caught on I would think of another, (back in those days I thought he could be a mascot for Temptations) bad mum. I think he quite enjoys doing tricks, I never had a clicker or anything, just voice or hand signals and he's pick up on it. He's a big guy, very long in the body, and he just reaches up to door handle height and pulls down with a paw, the other paw on the door and he pushes it open with his body weight. (I did not teach him this!!!! lol) :banghead: He just lets himself in our back door.
If I can brag for a bit, cause we all luv to brag a bit about our wonderful kitties...:cat::cat:
He will sit, stay, lay down, come, shake a paw, shake the other one, high five, pick a hand (he has to tap on my closed fist that holds the treats before I will open it), speak, and his most recent is to jump through my arms held open like a hoop. Hoping I will soon add to the list.... "in da bag Kitkat!!!!" so i can weigh him. I can happily post that he now does these for purebites and orijen treats :p:p
 
Oh my god, brag away :cat: Man he is so smart! He is like a dog :p
I just want to pick him up and kiss the heck out of him.
How I wish I can see him do everything.

Fear not!!!!!! hahahaaha;) I gotta plan, gonna see if my young niece (a high tech smartypants) will help me with a short video and such that I can post here.
Kitkat is now coming around to the tricks again!!! :p Before all the help and improvement here, he would just look at me, give a little shake, and then lie down with dull little eyes. I didn't push him at all, poor guy.
I pretty much have my Kitkat back again!!!! A video will be in the works :cat:
