She normally does OK with them because she either gets a treat or food right after I'm done but she has a couple bruises (at least I think they're bruises, picture below) in her ears from testing mishaps. My husband has started doing more tests lately and he is not well practiced so it takes a couple pokes to get enough blood and I think he's pressing too hard to stop the blood flow after getting the test.

Tessa's numbers are looking great ! Yes they are bruises, if you look at the lancet closely under a light one side will curve upward that's the side you want to poke with.
Maybe that will help your husband when he tests Tessa :cat:

Thanks, we use a lancing device and I'll try to keep that in mind when loading it.
