Good Morning, Everyone,

Rusty had a good night sleeping between his beans. He finished all of his nighttime food at some point, maybe close to AMPS. This morning we had a good test, good shot, good breakfast (Wellness Chicken and FF T&G) and a good schmooze. Today was litterbox cleaning and new-litter day, so Rusty had to supervise that. I hope he doesn't think we're going somewhere! Anyway, he made sure to "mark" his new litter in both boxes. I really love the World's Best litter because it stays so nice and fresh that I only have to change it once a month.

We are having spring-like weather and it may get up to the upper 40s today. The snow is rotten. I guess we'll go for a walk later. At least it stopped raining.

Wishing you all a good day. Sending strong healing vines to Mannie, Salem, Fitzel, Moonie, and all kitties and beans in need of some. Feel better and get better!
Happy OTJ to Molly!

Hi Ella. Nice beginning of the day for Rusty. Enjoy your spring like weather while you have it.

Have a great weekend.

Re: 1/12 Rusty AMPS 132

Morning Ella, and nice report on Rusty. Tell the LagoonMeister to get off his chaise lounge radiator and into the Green Lagoon. :-D I use that same litter and really like it. I think your weather is warmer than our!

Re: 1/12 Rusty AMPS 132

Yo Rusty,

Ewwww you slept between the beans! And you let them smush you! Ewwwww. Don't you know you are supposed to stretch yourself as long as you can and take over the entire bed and make the beans sleep in a teeny tiny part of it! You sure have a lot of learning to do.

OK, lesson one - Own the bed

Lesson two - remember lesson one!

Come on' let's get to the party and we can finish the lesson later!

Signed, Maui the Magnificent

What a great guy to cuddle with his beans and keep them cozy! Now, time to get back to the lagoon. Looks like litter box duties are the order of the day.

Re: 1/12 Rusty AMPS 133, +5.5 106

Hi again,
The LagoonMeister is inching his way back into the lagoon from the shore, where he has been "supervising" the surfers.

I bought a can of Wellness Core Turkey & Duck the other day when we were in Potsdam and gave Rusty some for lunch today. It was enthusiastically received! (But we all know that often a food that is gobbled up the first time it is served is ignored on subsequent servings.) We'll see whether or not it spikes his bgs (according to Dr. Lisa's list, it is higher in carbs--5%--than the 4% Wellness Turkey). But FF T&G has tended to spike his bgs, and it is supposedly only 3%. Anyway, I thought we'd try Wellness Core since Rusty seems to be tired of regular Wellness Turkey and Wellness Chicken (eats that part of his meal "later", only after polishing off the FF T&G). I also bought a can of Wellness Core Chicken, Turkey, and Chicken liver. But in reading the list of ingredients I see that it includes salmon oil (Rusty is allergic to fish) and ground-up potatoes. I'm hesitant about trying it. It's supposed to be 8% carbs.

It really feels like spring here. Temp. is 51 degrees!!! So disheartening to see all that lovely snow degrade. The teenagers are walking around in shorts and T-shirts.

bbl. thanks for visiting. Lyresa, I'm so glad that "Rustoo" found a home.

Nice slide this morning, glad to the the LagoonMeister getting back to work! I hope he continues to like the new food, always great to have something for backup.

Boo on losing your snow, but there will be more to come I'm sure!

Re: 1/12 Rusty AMPS 133, +5.5 106

 Spring-like weather...upper 40's! Just makes me giggle! It's in the 80's/70's here in Central FL...I would LOVE your spring-like weather right now versus ours! Glad Rusty is feeling so well and glad he approves of his litter! :-D Happy Caturday!

Re: 1/12 Rusty AMPS 133, +5.5 106

I hope Rusty gets back to the lagoon for you soon. Good luck with the new fuds. I hope they don't spike his BG.

The LagoonMeister is back in the lagoon. He had the new Wellness Core food for dinner tonight, so we'll get a better idea of how it affects him.

Everyone have a good evening. The kitties are off to Molly's OTJ party.

Hi Ella. What a lovely day for Rusty. Wanna have him text Checkers with some lessons? :-D

We had 50's today also. It's 45 right now. Our snow is gone in the areas that get sun, and I sink to my ankles in the mush. Ugh!
At least I found my toboggan, that got burried. I use it to pull groceries from the car to the back door. That litter is heavy.

Have a lovely evening with your boys, Ella

It's good to see Rusty back supervising the lagoon after a well deserved break. I'll try to convince Neko it's safe to go in the lagoon again. Good luck on the new fuds, it's always good to have a backup or additional food so they don't get bored.

I loved the Worlds Best litter too, until Neko decided she liked snacking on it when I did the monthly box freshening. I'm trying Blue Buffalo walnut now, it's supposed to act the same as WBC. So far it's not tasty :-D but I'm still in transition so don't know how it compares.
