Tinkles is doing fine, his numbers are not great but I'm not complaining. I opened a new pen this morning, as I suspect the age of the insulin is causing the inconsistency in his numbers. As we approach the 28 day mark, his numbers always seem to start climbing. He should be back to greens very soon.
WCR: Tinkles has become a bed fixture, both during the day and at night now! DH jokes that he can hardly find a place to sleep anymore because Tinkles sprawls out at the foot of the bed, always on his side! He also likes to sleep on the footrest of DH's recliner when he's relaxing and watching TV, so he always has to share with Tinkles....as it should be, since he is DH's cat! All P's in place, he spent some time on my lap today, purring away.
We got snow overnight, about 10 inches. It started snowing again this afternoon, still coming down now but not much more accumulation. DD has been working on her projects today, I'm about to tackle some Trig with her now since she took a break. Miriam, the Regents Exams are standardized tests that the kids in NY have to take and pass to graduate. Math is not my DD's strength, and she has taken and not passed the Trig test twice already. While this particular regents exam is not required for her to graduate, it is the only thing that will prevent her from getting an advanced Regents diploma, vs a "regular" diploma, so it would be nice if she could pass it....since she did all of the other work required, including passing the course. Don't ask, you don't want to get me started, trust me..... Let me just say that upwards of 75% of the kids FAILED both times they took the test, and many have not bothered to retake it and will just accept the lower diploma instead...this is a very sore subject with me.
