I haz a big pink toad dis morning probably thanks to Mr. Liver handing out sugar again but he was GREEN for a while yesterday! He's wanting FOOD FOOD FOOD - eaten 2 whole saucers of chicken on top of almost a whole 5oz can of food. I shot extra aujuis this morning to help eat a bit of that pinky stuff. This dose now isn't lasting for 12 hours - he's pink at almost every PMPS. If I raise it much, he'll bomb so we're on that merry-go-round...wheeee wheeee.....

I had to go buy small room heaters yesterday so never got to start a condo. Cold front is hurling in here right now, I pray our central furnace will keep going just a bit longer but now do have backup if it goes, at least our feet will stay warm... :roll: Actually we've worked for the last 4 years insulating 'leaky' areas - this year we're seeing the fruits of that work, we hold temps inside easily for a LONG time now!
GRAVY LOVERS INFO AS PROMISED! I learned something quite by accident and want to share it with everyone. KT LOVES gravy food but it spikes him....usually! I bought Friskies Chicken Prime Fillets with gravy for a couple of the others here - when KT was running low a couple of weeks ago, I had a can open and gave him some. Checked BG half hour later expecting to see a spike but WHAT? LOWER STILL? OK, you can have more....test again...STILL LOWER? OK, break out the FFeast gravy that I KNOW does it which did. Now what was THAT with the Friskies chicken/gravy prime fillets? So tried it when he wasn't low and I wasn't trying to change numbers just to see....AGAIN! NO SPIKE! Tried again, a bit more - NO SPIKE! He can even eat a whole CAN and not spike any more than LC!!!! I did try a bit of the TURKEY and BEEF prime fillets but that DID spike him! WOW!!! YARD DANCE!!! GRAVY FOOD!!!!
Keep up the prayers for our Sir Scruffy - we're still doing the 'heart dance' day by day too!!! When I pick him up, I can feel his little heart just beating 900mph even with meds. He's still a happy boy tho'. He ate well today and finished off a whole saucer of boiled chicken also.
