Hi folks,

Well it will be quiet around here today as the kitties are taking off to the Adirondack Mountains to visit Rusty!

Junior is hungry this morning so this enema thing has a pattern of not eating, enema, pooping, not eating, ravenous. Of course when he doesn't eat his BG goes up a bit. So he is going to get a final big bubble bath in a few minutes much to his distain. We added cerenia to his med table for a few days to see if it helps and it has. He is eating great today.

No snow for today so we can get the snow removal trimming done and move back the piles from the roadways and start on trimming the neighbors and sidewalks as well. Its a sunny bright wolf moon day!

Thank you!
Linda

Just looking in on you and Junior. I really like how you've highlighted the unusual special info in the comments section of his spreadsheet.

Forgive me if you've said it 12 times and I've just missed those condos, but have you considered giving him miralax on a regular basis to prevent the constipation? Many people here have used it and it seems pretty successful - from what I've read of others' accounts. I'm just thinking how much I wouldn't want to have to give my cat an enema, lol, and wondering about other options for Junior.

Hi Julie!
Yes he was on miralax successfully till just recently. It has stopped working for Junior but remains to work wonderfully for one of my other kitties. At this point I am doing what I can and tonight he is not
eating again. I am not going to give him enemas for a few days even if he doesn't eat. I expect his bg will go up as it is right now but he needs a break. Tomorrow I will call my Vet and get a wellness appointment as he is not looking so great. Also I am waiting on the cisipride and renew probiotics to arrive. The only thing about living in the country is the city is to far away in the snow storms this week. I have to rely on the couriers.

Thanks for looking in on us I really do appreciate all the love. :bighug:
