Happy Fursday!!! Many prayers go out to Anne, Liz, and Zener today....we hope their big, black, gorgeous guy gets better soon. Also sending prayers for Jetta, Rocket, Attie, Sir Scruffy, and any others who need them.

We're hoping that Gracie is still trying to settle back into this dose. So far her response has been rather lackluster. I am beginning to wonder if I just got a whole box of bad pens for some reason. This is the fourth one and two of the other three had to be switched out early and numbers drastically improved. Coincidence? Who knows but it is suspicious that her numbers just went crazy wonky and haven't improved with the dosecrease. But...she usually takes 9-10 cycles to settle in so we'll see.

She was such a little cuddle bug again last night.....she squishes herself up against me so tightly but I love it. She and Tobey were back at WWF smackdown this morning only he got her on her back and flopped on top of her and just stayed there. She was none too happy and since she weighs two lbs less than him, I picked him up and moved him off her. She was SO indignant. Talk about STINK EYE!! :lol: :lol: :lol: And, as usual, she had started it.

Mike left for work today :sad: He's been home since the day after Christmas and I have absolutely loved every minute of it. So hard to be away from him again. What a crybaby I am :lol: :lol: :lol:

Finally...off to visit condos and have my ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) Have a lovely day.

Hi guys ... I hope that you did not get a whole box of bad pens .. Gracie, think it's about time to settle into this dose for your beanz? That picture is to cute .. how do you find them all?? Hopefully Mike won't be gone to long .. have a great day!

Paws crossed the dosecrease settles in. I noticed the last 2 pens we have got bubble in them almost right away. I wish I could blame Tess's bad numbers lately on that. I did manage to draw them out w/ a syringe and they haven't come back.

Back to TBP is always hard after a long vacation. I have to start teaching this weekend too. :-|

Hi Marje and Gracie! I hope your pens are okay. In all of my years on insulin, I have not ever gotten a bad batch, even when I was on Lantus. I am sure it happens so I hope yours are okay. Will the pharmacy replace them if the are bad?

Hi Marje, I hope lil Gracie settles into the dose okay and it's not the pens. I still run into rejects with the Monojects. So funny with Tobey and Gracie. I didn't realize Tobes was larger than Gracie and sitting on her back, Tobey really!! :lol: So sorry to see Mike return to work; I hope he'll be home soon.

Thanks, Marje, for your help in Rusty's condo today. I shot the "old-style" fat 1.50 tonight--shot through the bounce.

Sorry that Mike has to go back to work, but I guess Gracie's life-style depends on it.

Tobey, our weather is too horrible and you will have to wait until it gets better to come visit us. But we might get some good snow soon (right now it is icy slush). I'm saving some "cimmamum" cookies for you.

Rosalie: well...that is interesting to know. Hmmmm....could be just Gracie. I'm not sure if they'll replace them or not. They did replace the last pack that every single pen had bubbles in it....I didn't even use them.

Ann: oh yes....still getting those darn MJ rejects. Yes...Tobey is LOTS bigger than Gracie...the little bully man :lol: :lol:

Ella: you're welcome. Oh my I wish Gracie was back to those bounces like Rusty had tonight!!! Tobey is very excited about the cookies since his "mum" has put him on a diet.

So I searched around and found my patience pants and have donned them along with the black, spike heels. Although...I really don't know why since Mike is not here but Amy said they work better with the heels :lol: :lol: I was assuming "work better" was referring to patience but now that I think about it, perhaps she meant they "work better" for other purposes :lol: :lol: :lol: :oops: :oops: :oops: Like I said...Mike is gone ;-)

I hear you on the suspicious box of bad pens, I think we have one too. But, I think we are done using the pens, vials seems so much easier to use, especially for my father and virtually no bubbles anymore!!

Miss Gracie what is up with these numbers? How funny on the WWF smack down today :-D

Hi guys. not too bad of a day for Gracie - at least the yellows appear to be steady. I hope she comes down soon for you and settles into the dose. Bummer on the bad pens - I have yet to have that happen to me.

Sorry Mike had to return to work - it must have been nice to have him home for so long. Vacation time for him?

Hmmmmm on the pens, Marje. I've been suspicious of my new pens.....well, at least the one I'm using now.
Oh okay, our troubles started when he was still using the vial, so got new pens instead.

I'd love to see Gracie and Tobey sparring....they would be so darn cute!

Awwww on missing Mike. I love your love story. :smile:

I have had 2 pens lately that had bubbles in them too! Thought it was me doing it but I guess it's the pens!d
Hope she comes down soon.....Sorry about Mike, I wouldnt like that, My DBFF also has a traveling DH so I know how it is...One day..he'll be home all the time!

I wonder if the box has not been handled correctly somewhere along the way, maybe it has been shaken up or something???
