Last night, I turned out the lights, which is Gabby's signal to come and snuggle. She climbed onto my chest and laid down (usually she just drape herself across my chest) and I got a kitty kiss on my chin! It was very sweet. She will give one or two licks. Gizmo will wash any body part he can have access to.

I got my first "kitty kiss" face licks from Smudge last week...
They were so tiny and stealth mode, I almost didn't realize what she was doing.
Just two...and barely felt...but what an exciting breakthrough that was!

Are you snowed in? Mike's first leg was from Phx to Chicago (Midway) and they cancelled it because of the snowstorm. He's now headed for Milwaukee later today. I said "Milwaukee is any better weather?" but he said it's the difference of the airport and longer runways. Hope you all stay warm and safe.
 
And we have blue!!

Marje: in the downtown area, we've gotten about 4" of snow. I have no clue what the eventual accumulation will be since this is supposed to keep up until the early AM. The forecast is for up to 8" total -- and with nasty winds.
