+5 - 72 (ER vet trip with civie-gave karo so he'd be safe)
+6.5 - 136
Oh just LOOK! We have GREEN! WOOT WOOT!!! Dance!! As you see above, +5 was 72, history says that's not the nadir - several hours left so gave spot of Karo. He was hollering his head off for FOOD Mama FOOD when I got back from shopping. His ear refused to bleed which happens when his numbers are green...took too many pokies and lots of heat. KT did that too.
Made flying trip to vet with SpikeKitty - when I got back home, his leg was extremely swollen and he wouldn't put any weight on it. DH didn't know what happened but vet found a wound on the back just above the paw. DH suspected neighbor's newish dog may have bit him but I'm not sure, that's the only wound which is strange. I suspect he poked it with something yesterday evening...found him sitting on truck with feet tucked, big eyes and very leary of things on the ground.
Please say a prayer and send good thoughts for great-granddaughter, Laila's, eye surgery. They did surgery this morning, she has severe nerve damage in both eyes, the pressure from childhood glaucoma is still high even after draining. Looks like it's going to progress which we all hoped it wouldn't - she'll be blind by her teenage years. Poor baby is only 2 years old. They're doing something else wednesday, not sure what that is....she needs lots of good thoughts and prayers.
PennyDrooler is finally getting over her tonsillitis but still has some cough. At least she can sleep for a while before a coughing fit. The benadryl is helping with the swelling.
DH is having repeated paralysis attacks from both cold and stress of this whole day. Luckily I was able to speak with the manufacturer of the potassium emergency med he needs that the pharmacy says they couldn't get - they're overnighting it to pharm!! FINALLY!!! Only been working on this for 3 weeks! The other one was citric acid based causing extreme stomach issues - this one is unflavored with just a bicarbonate base. He can even put it in his Pepsi! WONDERFUL!!
Thoughts and prayers continue for Laura and Skinky - no one has heard from her so I'm a bit concerned.
BIG HUGS to all that visit this afternoon! Not much 'day' left, it's almost 3:30 but I think I can find enough energy to DANCE!
