We finally got the script from the vet and got a new vial of insulin yesterday afternoon. Started using it last night. Obviously, it didn't make a difference. :sad: This morning's PS number is iffy - the DH overslept and wasn't on top of things. He admits that there was just enough blood to activate the meter, and he should have done a second test, so I'm not putting too much stock in that ugly pink. HOWEVER, at +6 he's already up to 286, so..... confused_cat
If the numbers are still mostly yellow with the occasional pink tomorrow, I'm wondering if we need to do another dosecrease? We go back to the OV Tuesday to see if the drops have helped at all with the pressure and inflammation. Maybe I should wait to make the decision until after that? I'm really running out of ideas here.
It's hard to tell if he's feeling badly because of his BG or because of his eyes, or if it's something else. Day three of Zobaline, so too soon to tell if that's helping. His appy is, as usual, excellent. He's slow to come out for his snacks if I'm there, but I'm sure that's because he knows he's going to get drops! I'm thinking of doing a proper curve tomorrow to get a better idea of where he's at. It's so hard to figure, as sometimes he's up at +6, and sometimes he's down. Where the heck is his nadir, anyway? :?:
