Happy Sunday LL!!

China's being extra snuggly today, so we've just been having a quiet snuggle morning. Was happy to see only a 56 point drop at +3 instead of a 200+ point drop! Would have liked it even better if she'd started a little lower, but all in all, being below renal threshold is fine with me! And hopefully, no ugly bouncing from dropping too fast!

Going to go get DM out of Assisted Living for awhile today and go out shopping. The sun is out and it's 61 degrees at noon so it's a beautiful day to get out and about. The wind is pretty bad, but as long as it's blowing in warm air, I can live with it!

Hope everyone is having a great Sunday, and all your kitties are feeling wonderful too! Sending healing vines to those who need them

Yes, I'm pretty happy with her cycle today, and even happier that her PMPS was only 137! Sure hoping I can hit just the right mix of raw, Fancy Feast and times fed to keep her from those big dives, which just end up causing big bounces

It was a lovely day except for the wind...ended up getting up to 68 this afternoon, but wind gusts were up to 45mph which was almost too much for DM to be able to walk in. She's not real steady on her feet, and when those gusts came flying in, she was a little shaky. She has a walker, but she's been trying not to use it for short walks, but today it might have been a good idea to keep it with her..although it might have also just made it worse by "catching" more of the wind ...like a van gets pushed around more than a little car on the highway in high winds.

Overall, it's been a good day!

Nice numbers for China today. I hope she keeps surfing tonight. I'm glad you and your DM got to get out today. How crazy with the wind.

I don't believe what I just did!! I went to get a +2 on China, and there sat her PM shot!! So, instead of shooting a 137, I'm shooting 2 hours late and shooting a 330

Now I'll have to work her back to her regular schedule over the next several days.

I feel like a total idiot...How do you forget the shot??

Oh well..this too shall pass I suppose

hehe actually, i think you've just joined a not-very-elite-or-selective group. many people have said they've done that! :lol: ya gotta juggle a lot of balls with this diabetes dance and once in a while one falls.

China's still alive, however, so no worries, she'll recover from it!

This is exactly what happened to me last night! I usually get the shot drawn up, test and feed. But last night I went in to test and got all the food together and then went to check on the baby because he wasn't settling down for Matt. I sat down and about 15 minutes later thought...did I give him a shot?! I most definitely didn't remember shooting him or drawing it up!

But I thought the same thing! I've been doing this twice a day since April! How did I forget?!

China...return to low numbers quickly and make your mamabean feel better!

At least you found the syringe a couple of hours later. I went to shoot one evening and found the syringe from the morning. ohmygod_smile China will recover.

Hi Chris - oh no on the shot, but truth be told we have all done it, probably more than once. China will recover soon enough. I so know that feeling when you walk out into the "shoot area" and see that syringe..... ;-)
