I can't tell you how many times people stayed up with me when Lucy was in her drama days. I know it helps to have company. Other people have been following along too, they just didn't post because they didn't want to get in the way of what we were doing.
If you're tired, then what I would do is leave out lots of food for the night, so if he drops again he can feed himself (isolate him if your other cats are piggies and you think they will steal it all). You can put some gravy on top if you want. Then set an alarm for a spot check at +7 or +8 to be sure he is still holding his own. Then 1u in the morning, unless you happen to wake up to another low number at AMPS.
I'm glad he is finally a bit higher! To be honest, I was expecting him to be higher than this a couple of hours ago, with all the carbs he has had. That's what makes me really sure he needs a dose reduction, because the insulin was apparently stronger than all that food.
