Good morning,
I found Mookie lying on a heat vent this morning, with a toasty warm belly. We're in the midst of a snow storm and the temp outside is very cold. I keep the house warm because I like it that way, and I was surprised to see him seeking additional warmth. He's never done this, even in the coldest weather, and I wonder if FD affects his body temperature? Or could it be indicative of a thyroid condition? In thinking about it, he probably feels the cold more because he's lost so much weight and has less body fat.
In any case, an AMPS of 290 is a heck of a lot better than the 473 of yesterday. Now if his numbers will just go down instead of up this morning, he'll feel better and so will I.
We wish everyone a peaceful day and healthy kitties.
