Yesterday was bounce day.... pink and yellow day.... I think I really preferred the day before when it was blue and green day, and not bounce day. :-D Maybe today we can make a return trip there Mannie. What'd'ya say? You look so good in blue and green. Sure do like that amps - GO MANNIE! Lubs ya big guy, no matter what color you are. cat_pet_icon

All is well in MannieLand. :-D :-D Mannie is happy, and furry, and purry, and so involved with that nanner pile. :lol: Yesterday when it was close to the PM shoot time I went to grab Mannie - he had gone outside maybe a half hour before, as it was a sunny day out there, and well he wanted out so bad. So I let him out. I got out there and couldn't find him. Finally did. He was sitting next to BJ's burial site, just sitting there, looking at the marker stone, then at me, back to the stone. He got up made a few circles around it, sat back down again. So I spent some time with him, just talked with him. About five minutes later he got up, came inside and went and sat at his test spot, just purring as loud as he could. It was such a touching moment. Perhaps.... a visit was made. We have been waiting. It was so cool too that later, during testing, Elsa came and sat with Mannie, as BJ used to do - she's never ever done that before. Quite the afternoon yesterday. :cool: :cool: We had a great test feed shoot this morning: lots of purrs and head rubs from Mannie. Breffis was consumed with gusto - still at warp speed, clean plate club status maintained, the auto feeder continues to be used, AND!: Elsa is back to raiding his auto feeder. :o I knew she couldn't stay away long... so I am back to running interception... Normalcy in MannieLand.

Have a great day everyone. I am back on DGS duty through Friday. We are supposed to have great weather - I do so hope they are right. No doubt we are off to the river... need to figure out which one. :lol: I know I won't be able to visit condos until late in the evening... so in my absence: think blue, think green kitties!

Hey everybody!! What a day yesterday! All those bobsled runs - WOOT! Hey you guys just wanna hang out and tell stories and eat snacks and stuff today? Beach maybe, or maybe just a fireplace with lots of fleece and pillows... hmmmm... that would be so cool. Anybody got anything they wanna do? I am ready for anything! ~~ Mannie

Morning Michelle, I think BJ did make a visit, and it is so heartwarming and touching to hear how Mannie sat by her burial site and Elsa now taking over BJ's testing spot. It gives me chills. So nice to hear.
And look at the nice AMPS for Mannie, so all is well. Have a great time at the river with DGS and so great n the weather, too.

Hi ya Mannie, I am sooo tired, too, so camping out at the fireplace with some marshmallow graham cups (what are those called?) sounds like a good idea. See ya soon, Maggie.

Good morning Michelle & Mannie,
What a beautiful way BJ chose to send her message that all was well. Mannie and Elsa both felt her presence. How wonderful for all of you!

Good weather for a change and you can take advantage of it by going to one of Nicholas's favorite places: a river! Which one shall it be? And Mannie has a great AMPS and the +2 looks like it will be a "hiking pass" for your adventure today. Enjoy.

I am touched by BJ's visitation. Mannie knows all is well with her. And it looks like she may have made assignments to make sure all of her former responsibilities are still being fulfilled.

That is very touching. What a sweet crew you have. You know BJ is there, but the kitties can probably sense it more than you do.

Wow Michelle!!! I got a little choked up reading about BJ's burial spot and Mannie, he must miss her so much as I'm sure you all do.

Thanks to everyone for visiting Mannie today while I cared for DGS. We went to the Snoqualmie River again - it is one of his favorite spots. Dang it was cold though - 30, with 25 mph winds - no clue what the wind chill was... Nicholas had a great time though. Fun stuff! and Mannie gave us a permission slip!

Thanks Ann, Anne, Barb, Tracy, Randa, Angela, Melissa, Beth, Linda, Ella, and Ann for checking up on Mannie - it is appreciated. Forgive my abbreviated update on Mannie.... I am so short on time tonight, and it looks like Mannie will want some of it. Sheshhh - a nice drop with that +2. :shock: :razz: Thanks everyone for your thoughts on yesterday. I too think we had a visit. I am so glad that Mannie and Elsa were able to experience it. It was quite a touching moment.
Ann - it will be interesting to see if Elsa repeat the testing thing with Mannie. Today she did not. Guess we will see if she does it again.

Hi Ella - we did have a good time. It was so cold, and very windy, but DGS didn't seem to mind to much. He was cold near the end of our time there, so we car camped for the rest of it. He just loves to camp out in the car. :lol: :lol: A great day all around!

Michelle, You know you dont have to convince me about BJ's visit & Mannie being right there & responding like that--Spirit communication, even with cats, is very subtle, but very obvious...She came to all of you, but attracted Mannie's attention first...I am so happy to see this! May she stay a little every tme you need her, she'll be there! Know it hurts but is sweet as well..
Mannie had spectacular numbers today, just perfect! Hope the next days will be as good--
I was out today & tonite as usual I-) I-) I-) fell asleep--God am I old!!

Hi Roni - many thanks on the visitation - I do believe it. He was so focused, I have no doubt. You are so right, there is some hurt, but it is also ever so sweet. I had to laugh on the falling asleep... uh... that would be me too. :lol: :lol:
