I hope everyone had a great day yesterday. It was a good one here yesterday. I enjoy our mornings here before we all get so busy and take off for the day. The boys will play together, well Nicholas will show William how to do things, and give him toys to play with. Then we work on "the plan" for the day. He so wnated the Science Center, so off we went to Seattle. We talked about swimming in the evening, once William had been dropped off with his dad. It was nice to see him warm up to a new pool. Swimming was a great time. And of course we had what has become tradition on Friday night: cheeseburger and fries pigout. Funny, but he really enjoys that feast after swimming. Here's what I wrote last night once I finally got home: "HI EVERYONE! thanks for taking the time to visit today. We have been to the children's Museum today, after going to the Science Center only to find that it was closed this week. WHAT????   The children's museum is about 15 minutes away, so we opted to go there instead. weather was awful so indoors it was. we also swam tonight too. Am i ever tired. home at 9, ate, no time to unwind... but... pool went well. He took ownership of it, played hard until the session ended. not one balk at all. it was like he had been there his whole life. he's used to changing rooms, but I had no issues with one main locker room, or one main shower, or the lack of what lynnwood, his regular pool, does have. smiles and laughter the entire stay, and he was so sad when the session ended. so, good to know that it did not matter where he was, or that things were strange. he wanted to swim, so he did. kinda cool. :-D    so I'm beat, off to bed, and I hope I can sleep. the bod is done, the brain is on overload. sheshhhh... Thanks all for the visit, sorry I didn't get to any condos. read the subject lines though - keep on truckin' kitties! "

Normalcy in MusketeerVille!   What to say about the kitties.... They have been good kitties, and even Lola! Well sorta on Lola... Lola will always be Lola. I found one dug up plant when I got home, overturned trash cans, a few knocked on the floor magazines... she still helps me shower: lots of shower door pounding, and sitting on the towels, warming them up for me.  When I got home last night I watched Bug continue to maneuver Lola into runs and romp We have been a bit on the wet side here, steady 40's, with lots of rains and winds. Both Bug and Elsa, and even Lola some too, spent the day napping in their beds. I think Elsa went out for a bit, but she sure didn't stay long. she has learned how to navigate the deck, and the yard and not get too wet. Kinda funny to watch her do it: under this, around that, beneath the trees and under the bushes.... Smart girl! Off to a warm bed for her after that. yupp, for sure Normalcy in MusketeerVille!

Have a great day everyone! I'm not too sure what will be here today. One of those days when I shall see what comes to be. It is really rainy and windy here today. I hope for a break in a few so I can get in a short walk/hike. Paws crossed!

KITTIES! Remember: think BLUE, think GREEN cat_pet_icon

Re: 1/12 LOOSE LIPS: museums and pools... HAPPY CATURDAY LL!

How cool that Nicholas can handle any pool, just so he gets to swim! Looks like he had as good a time as usual :-D
I love seeing how Nicholas enjoys his food!! My DGS is so picky ~
Glad you were able to make it to the Children's Museum - that looks like such a fun place for kids :-D
Enjoy your day, Michelle ~ that was a beautiful picture of Lola :-D

I kn ow on the eating thing... that aspect is wonderful. he has developed a few things he now balks at but over all he is a great eater. THX too n the day - that museum is NUTS, but the kids really like it. They do a great job there is incorporating fun, and learning. THX too on Lola's pic. She really such a beauty.... :-D

Re: 1/11 LOOSE LIPS: museums and pools... HAPPY CATURDAY LL!

I guess swimming is still swimming, no matter the pool, that is good! ;-) I love cheeseburgers and fries too, go pigout! Napping in beds sounds like a perfect pass time on rainy days...for kitties, and for beans! :-D I hope you can grab your hike at some point, Michelle! Happy Caturday!

Re: 1/11 LOOSE LIPS: museums and pools... HAPPY CATURDAY LL!

Hi Michelle,
Surely you weren't tired after that full day!!!??? Wow, I would be exhausted, too. Hiking will seem like a snap!! It's great that Nicholas likes the new pool. It looks pretty nice. The Childrens' Museum looks wonderful. What a fun time the boys can have there.

I hope your weather gets better. At least it sounds better than ours. So many roads are closed that we couldn't go anywhere if we wanted to (we don't want to!).

Only 1 plant disturbed? Lola, you can do better than that!

Have a fine evening and enjoy the Seahawks game.

Hugs, scritches,

Ella & Rusty

Special thanks to Elsa for the Afrikan espresso. YUM!

That's great Nicholas likes the new pool. Too bad the Science Museum was closed. At least you had somewhere else to go. Great to hear there is normalcy in Muskerteerville and all the kitties are doing well.

Re: 1/11 LOOSE LIPS: museums and pools... HAPPY CATURDAY LL!

Hi everyone! Hope your day has been good. WOOT SEAHAWkS WIN! On to the championships YAY! What a great game. Love games when the go down to the wire. There is not alot to say about today, the weather here is horrid. Antone that saw the game you could see how bad it was. Winds continue at 25mph, and then some. We did get a few sun breaks, but they never lasted long, maybe 15 minutes tops. Half time looked good, so I took a chance and headed on out. sheshhhhh.... got a mile into it when the winds shifted, alot, and the heavy rains were back. Needless to say I headed back. With the winds, and wet and 45 temp it was just cold, a very wet cold.... I think maybe I got 2 miles at best. oh well.... better to come back and watch the end of the game. I read some while I watched the game too. My DS Anthony had given me a book a while back on Elliot Porter, a photographer from the days of Ansel Adams. Those two I read were instrumental in photographing remote regions, allowing people to actually see the importance of preserving these areas, helped the Sierra Club achieve some of their wilderness preservation goals. It was a nice read, mostly photographic, but wow. I think that is one of the reasons I like photography so much: it allows so many to see things that they never would have the opportunity to see.

Hi Rachel :-D It was really nice to see that swimming was swimming for Nicholas, and that the pool didn't matter. He has just turned 3 and one just never knows if new will be good or not. it was great to see him embrace the new place. LOL on the cheeseburgers ad fries. it is tradition now when he swims at night: burgers and fries required. ;-) THX on today - I did get out, but not for long. Weather here is just too windy, and very wet. Blech!

Hi Ella :-D No..... never tired after three full days of boys!     Yes on the hike, it would have been great if the weather had been better, I was just getting soaked and the winds weer so strong that the rain drops felt like ice pellets to the face. so,.... went back home and watched football. :-D I hope your roads will improve soon. At least we are not too cold, or we would have the same problem. not good! I too was glad that Nicholas liked the new pool, now we have a good backup for when his regular pool is closed.
Auntie Ella! You are so welcomes! I can bring more...my bean say it is very cold there and lots of frozen stuff on the ground. I could skate in, bring you more.... ~~ Elsa, KBP
Auntie Ella! well.... yes, only one plant.... hmmmmmm..... the night is till young! Off I go! ~~ Lola

Hi Carla :-D I was happy too that he liked the new pool. It is so nice to know that we have an alternative to his regular pool in the event we need one. Oh yes on the  museum thing - I too was grateful that the museum was close enough that we could go there. THX on the kitties - all is so quiet and well here today. Eve Lola is being good.
