All 5 P's have been great lately with the Doodles. I'll be returning the Weruva foods bought as he won't touch them and are way too low in calorie anyways so kind of glad. Since he gobbled up the Dave's last night and had some this morning I'll pick up more of that instead.

Hopefully he'll make it to the lagoon and hang out there for a while today. Have a good day everyone!

Gorgeous day for Doodles! Trix used to love Paw Licken' Chicken but it took her a while to learn how to eat shreds :joyful:! But, as you said, it ended up being way too low in calories for her...

Have a great evening, guys!

Very nice!!

I think Daves has either carregeenan or gums in it.....just mentioning it because of his IBD.

Thanks Marjie, I saw that :( I'll probably just use it as a mix in from time to time if needed. There is something in all the food that isn't ideal. Have to try home cooking again and hope it turns out better.

2 questions - What ointment did you use for Gracie's ear? Sometimes Doodle's ear looks irritated from the Neosporin. - When you home cooked did you put the Alnutrin in the crock pot or mix it in after? I mixed it in after.

I know....it's really discouraging to not be able to find a food without something they shouldn't have (even healthy cats). I've had Tobey on homemade raw for a couple years now although I do rotate in some of the Primal raw foods for variety.

When I made Gracie's homecooked food, I cooked the meats in the crockpot for a few hours, puréed to a pate, cooled, and then added the alnutrin when it was completely cool.

I used polysporin with lidocaine on her ears. Wendy/Neko sent it to me from Canada. I would send it to you but another member's kitty was also allergic to neosporin and I already sent it all to her. Very sorry. Jill used Halo Cloud Nine Herbal Healing Salve on Alex's ears.
