I'd be inclined to stick with this dose a bit longer. There was clearly some action off of the shed the first day, as you surmised. I am wondering what Tubby's numbers looked like earlier today, given the low blue. He may be getting back on track. Generally, if the nadir is less than 200, we give the dose up to 5 days to see if it's working. You may need to try to get more than one spot check in just so you have a sense of whether Tubby will need a bit more insulin.

You are absolutely right, I do intend to keep the current dose for at least 10 cycles.
However as I mentioned in my last post, my syringe has 1 unit markings and I'm not sure if I do get
1.5 units in. It could very well be a bit more or less but my personal feeling is that 2 units
will be the dose. Like you said I will stay on 1.5 until is proven other wise.
The spot check is crucially important at this point and have every intention to get as many as possible
but I have been so tired and sleepy lately. I will start if not tonight for sure tomorrow
to have more data.
I think my boy is responding quite well and I have high hopes for him.
