Good Morning, Everyone,

Rusty is good this morning--the morning routine went normally and he is chillaxin' in his perch above the radiator. He was green last night at bedtime, but this morning is going to curling practice on the BLUE TEAM.
I'll be out all day because I have to take my car in for servicing and wait because I have no way to get home and then back again this afternoon. So I'll amuse myself in Lake Placid. Weather is warming up (15 degrees already) and we are supposed to have 50 degrees and rain tomorrow: flood watch has been posted for ice jams flooding the rivers. We're glad we decided not to go to NYC on Monday. The road out of the mountains could be trecherous, since it skirts the Ausable River, which always floods.

I'm taking my iPad to the car place, so I'll catch up with you there. Wishing all a good day and continuing to send healing vines to those who need them,

Hi guys .. nice blue this morning rusty! I hope the car maintenance does not take too long .. and yes, probably a good thing you decided to hold off your trip, sure would be awful to get caught in the flooding .. have a great day guys!

:-D :-D , the blue team is always a good place to start the day. Lake Placid sounds like a good place to kill time. Does the car place have wi-fi or does your iPad connect to your mobile acct?

Nice start for Rusty today, paws crossed it was the rest before a lagoon visit.

Good call on not going to NYC next week, that weather sounds missable on the roads. Good luck on getting the car fixed quickly. I hope you find a good place with wifi in Lake Placid to settle down with ~O) and your iPad.

That's a pretty nice color blue for the a.m.. Sorry you have to sit while your car is being worked on, but thank goodness for tablets :smile: Also icky on the ice and the flooding and the rain heading your way.

Hi again,

Rusty and Edward had a good day together. Rusty had good appetite. I don't know what his numbers were before +10. The test at PMPS had a lot of blood on the strip, so it may not be accurate. In any event, he looks like he played on the Blue Team all day.

I sat in the car place and did some work on the board in the morning (yes, they have wi-fi for guests; and I also have a mobile connection). Then I walked into the village of Lake Placid (the car place is on the outskirts), had lunch in a place we sometimes go to, looked around in Eastern Mountain Sports, and then went to the Lake Placid Public Library, where I had a peaceful few hours reading my book and a nice view of Mirror Lake. On the way back I was lucky to catch one of the free municipal mini busses and the driver dropped me right at the car place. This was good, because the roads were very difficult to walk on. The snow was "greasy" and there is a lot of traffic there. My car is fine. It was scheduled servicing with one exception: they removed "a large rodent nest" in the engine compartment! There were apparently no rodents in it. I think Chip Chip may have made it, but it could have been a mouse. I'll have to look under the hood more often!!

"Large rodent nest?" Since you use your car, you have to wonder why they thought this was a good place for a nest. Unless they just used it for bedtime....ewwww!!

Rusty is looking good today!!! Keep it up, Rusty!!!
