Murphy's congestion seems improved with just two doses of antibiotics - which is hard to believe but it happened last time as well. We'll see what happens at the vets tomorrow

It's a terrible day here - low 40's, but rainy and very windy - sustained winds 25-35 mph with gusts >50
Yuck - I have to go get a mammogram this afternoon - hate to go out in this

I have been swamped with work and not on the board much, but will try to tonight if I can get enough work done, and don't have to spend too much time at Northwestern.

Sorry about having to battle the weather for a lovely test today. Hope all goes well Carol. Murphy's looking pretty good and glad his congestion has already started to clear up.

I'm having to leave in a few minutes - it's not going to be present - I live close to Lake Michigan and the winds are always much worse right by the lake
Bummed that Murf is yellow already - I'm thinking it's his inflammation from the congestion and he really needs a dental

Hopefully the AB will do the trick...maybe he needs a longer course to keep it at bay? Since Trix has bad teeth (can't have a dental - bad kidneys, too) and has been on again/off again snuffling, I've been poking around Dr Google and have found that dental issues can definitely cause this sort of snuffling. With Trix we may be stuck doing pulse ABs for her teeth since she can't go under for a real cleaning..

You work at Northwestern (or is that where you went for the mammogram)? My Dad was a professor at Northwestern for a few years when I was a little, little kid.

i hope the antibiotics continue to help the congestion... i see you found the lagoon tonight... time to surf around for a while there... you will feel better for it :bighug::bighug::bighug: hope everything went ok today Carol
