Still diving and bouncing. Trying my best to get him back on track. Numbers were creeping back up on 4.5 after using that 70 reduction point. Mistakenly he was clearing a bounce yesterday when I fattened his dose ever so slightly. I shouldn’t have, but didn’t think it would make much difference. I forgot to figure in the bounce clearing cycle. He got to 69, so we held the dose at 4.5 and I am holding at 4.5 to see where he lands on this. If his nadirs stay in high greens, we will try 4.75 again with frequent monitoring. I’ve got to get him back to how he was doing before. This diving bouncing routine along with being constipated from high numbers has set us back. When I fattened the dose yesterday, I was only trying to tweak it a bit to see what he’d do because I was considering an increase. He got to 69 which is fine, the diving was the problem that caused the bounce.

Hopefully I will wake up tomorrow and he’s headed back down. I will try to check earlier/ feed to prevent a dive tomorrow as well. Looks like another good night of sleep.

I can’t really understand why he’s started these fast, deep drops early in the cycle again. I am not doing anything different than I was when he was having such good cycles at the end of last year. Just because he’s Max, that’s why.
