Good Morning and also a good start for Maggie Pie baby! All P's are good, even lb. She kept a watch probably all night off and on looking for Freddie the Raccoon who wonders our apartments. I decided to give him a name. I think there may also be a wondering cat, and I hope it's not a stray. I hope the raccoon won't hurt the cat! I have an early medical appt., and it's a dicey drive up the freeway, so I usually leave extra early to miss the heavy traffic. I usually stop the exit before my appt. and shop at Rite Aid. I got very little sleep, so I think I'll look for a place to have small breakfast. I won't get a chance to read too many condos this morning, but will be back later, early afternoon to check in and read condos. Have a nice day.

Very nice number for Maggie this morning. I doubt Freddie would hurt a cat. Racoons aren't aggressive, just opportunistic and extremely intelligent. They have a much longer lifespan in cities than in the wild too - up to 15 years. I'm glad people are tolerant and accept wildlife in cities.

Drive safely today!!!

Great AMPS! Be careful on the roads today, and get something yummy for breakfast! I"ve been coveting the new BK blueberry biscuits, but I think they would be a major blow to my diet... and they might not even be good! (yeah, right).

Have a great Monday!

Nice low blue AMPS for Maggie...well, maybe it's nice depending on which meter you used. Hmmmmm.....no meter reports for the day? Not even one little word about it, eh?
Well, hope it goes well this morning for your appt. Careful driving Girl....and enjoy your breffis too! :YMHUG:

Hi Ann & Maggie,
Maggie, you are lookin' great today! Ann, I wouldn't worry about the racoon hurting cats: they are not predators. I think we have a racoon living part-time in our garage (we have to leave the door open because modern cars don't fit inside the tiny garage). He/she walks all over the car, leaving little hand prints on our dirty/salty car.
Hope you enjoyed your breakfast on the road!

Hi Everyone,
I just got back a short while ago and was worried Maggie would be starving, but I left enough food for her. She seems to be surfing today, but I did miss the early checks. I had a good doctor's appt. and then was lucky to get an MRI done of my neck and shoulder area. I didn't have an appt, but they had an opening. I had just gotten the script at the doctor appt. I was lucky.

Thanks Karrie for the info on Mr. Raccoon. We look forward to seeing him. We know not to feed him, although we heard someone used to feed him. This used to be all rural land where these apartments are located, so unfortunately, we took over their territory, and it seems they have no where to go.

Ha, Ha, Pat with the two meters. I would have used a second meter, but I was rushing around like crazy trying to get everything done with Maggie and me. I ended up getting an Egg McMuffin and coffee at a little Subway shop, and it was pretty good, I must say!

Thanks Mocha. Maggie does seem to be doing well this second time around. I also hate freeway driving and try to avoid it when I can, too. I left almost two hours early just to beat the rush hour traffic, and it was worth it.

Hi Christie & Willie. The BK blueberry biscuits sound good, I have a favorite market where they bake them and are so good. I love having something sweet for breakfast.

Hi Ella & Rusty. Funny you should mention little pawprints over your car. Several of us have noticed paw prints on our cars, and we thought it was a cat. I bet it could be our neighborhood raccoon. I could not get over how big the raccoon was the day he and Maggie were glaring at each in the patio window. I had no idea they got so big.

Nice numbers for Maggie today. What a pretty blue surf. :-D

we got some raccoons here too - they are so curious - sometimes we can see them through the slider at night, looking in.. and yes - they can get very big.

Sounds like your Dr visit went well - nice that you could get in too for the MRI without having to wait or make another appt. So great when it all comes together in one visit.

have a great night guys!
