Not a bad AMPS. Leroy is still being quiet and meatloafing. Vet has no idea why . At least he's eating and drinking a lot. The drinking could be diabetes related or kidney issue related or budesonide dose related.

Could Miralax cause tummy issues? It's the only new recent thing. He needs the Miralax for constipation. Would a fiber supplement be better?

You could try some psyllium husk fiber and see that that helps. Is he getting extra water? Miralax uses water so he'll need more.

He gets plenty of water.

I thought the fPLI test came back negative yesterday but I was wrong. Leroy has pancreatitis :( His level was way off the chart :nailbiting: The vet doesn't want to do anything differently with Leroy at the moment. If his weight doesn't improve in 2 weeks, he'll go on chlorambucil. I found my saved copy of JoJo's CP post. I'll give it a read.

I picked up more Lantus pens today. The GoodRX coupon did not work this time. I just put the cost onto my HSA account.

Here's a newer post. A Primer On Pancreatitis

Not sure why he'd go on chlorambucil? Make sure you have plenty of anti nausea meds on hand, specifically ondansetron. Can Leroy get fluids? Some people find that giving fluids day of chlorambucil dosing also helps. It's been a glorious year and half that I haven't had to give chlorambucil. Before that it was about 8 years straight with one cat or another (or two). :banghead:

Sorry about the pancreatitis, hopefully it's just a quick flare and will go away quickly.

That's disappointing on the GoodRx not working for new pens... I used mine a couple weeks and it still worked. I also sneaked in using my HSA card, which we're technically not supposed to do, but whatever!!!!

Hope Leroy eats more and gains some weight. Nice work taking care of him, you're a great dad.
