Happy Fursday! Thoughts and healing wishes to all who need them today.
Gracie had a bounce + probably some NDW yesterday but she had a happy day. I have to tell you the funniest story from last night. She and Gus LOVE canned peas. Before FD, I let her have some on the rare occasion that we had them. So last night, I had some with dinner and Gus was right there begging for them. Gracie was up on the back of the chair having a bath and so I thought she didn't realize Gus was eating peas. All of a sudden, though, her ears perked up, her eyes opened wide, she sat up and the look on her face was Gussie's getting PEAS?!!!!!
OMG we laughed so hard at her expression because it was very, very clear that it registered to her that he was eating PEAS. And in a flash, down she came while I was scrambling to pick the peas up that Gus had flung all over the place. A couple had rolled under the coffee table and she was all over them like a tick on a dog! She had them scooped up in her little paw and into her mouth before either one of us could get them :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:
Sorry I wasn't on last night. A very long day for me at work since I called in sick last week. It was late when I got home; Mike had taken care of all cat duties and had dinner ready. As soon as I ate, I had a cup of hot tea and went straight to bed. While I think each day we feel better, some days are back to sounding like the TB ward....like today.
