AMPS 283. Had to skip insulin because he is refusing to eat anything. I had spent the last 30 mins putting out 5 different cans of food for him, he wouldn’t even touch one of them. Don’t know if I should be irritated or worried. But yet he sits by all 5 plates and his food area as if there isn’t food for him. I don’t think he just isn’t hungry because he hasn’t eaten anything since dinner yesterday. Also, he randomly pooped by the front door last night..found it this morning. It was basically a gray color?.. is that normal?
 
Gray stool is not normal - it should be chocolate brown. If you see this a second time, I'd consider contacting the vet. Given that he's showing signs of nausea too (interested in food but. not actually eating), that's another reason for a vet contact.

Yes if I see it again I will call the vet. I will monitor his poop and check the color for the next couple of days. And he’s been eating today which is good. I gave him a crap ton of food yesterday. My mom reminded me this morning that I gave him around 6-7 cans of food. I gave him 2 normal fancy feast cans for his breakfast, then I went to PetSmart and for some wellness wet food and some tiki cat..so I came home and gave him one can of each new food..AND on top of that he has his normal 2 cans for dinner. So I’m sure he was just not hungry, because later in the day this morning, up until a couple hours ago, he was eating.
But I still still monitor his poop

Does anyone have any suggestions/know anyone who makes there cats’ food? I gave him dinner and he’s only eaten one can of fancy feast which isn’t enough calories. Ever since yesterday he’s been SO PICKY. I went out and bought some tiki cat which he liked yesterday..but surprise surprise, he’s not liking it today so I went back to fancy feast. I’m starting to get really annoyed and I don’t know what’s going on. I just spent $60 at Petsmart buying Tikki cat food and now he doesn’t like it. Now I have to go back and return it and try and find some thing else. I was thinking of honestly trying Friskies pate, and if he still being picky with that, then I’m gonna have to resort to making his food at home because I can’t keep doing this, I can’t afford it, and it’s making me really frustrated and honestly sad that he’s all of a sudden not interested in the food he used to like.
